This Shark - UltraCyclone Pet Pro+ CH951 Cordless Hand Vac with Self-Cleaning Pet Power Brush works as well as could be expected for a unit its size. It does an excellent job on removing cat fur with the power brush. Has good power for doing those quick cleanups.

We bought the shark handheld vacuum to remove stubborn pet hair from our couches. So far, it has not met our expectations. We had to go over the same spot multiple times to see even a small removal of hair. The attachment that’s supposed to help seems to be more of a “cool” addition than a functional benefit. However, this does work fine for normal day to day cleaning. But if you have stubborn hair or dirt you may need something stronger.

Best handheld vacuum I've ever bought! Just ordered a 2nd one for my car now, yay! Got it because of fur monsters that sit on my couches and one pass with vacuum lifts 80% of the fur.

I got this 5 months ago and waited a bit before reviewing. Now I can say that it is as still working as strong as day 1. The vacuum power is very nice for a small, light weight, quiet unit. I use it about 4 times a week for < 5 minutes per use. I charge it when it stops running. It charges quickly, but note that it does not work with it is plugged in to the charger. I have Dyson sticks, and Dyson full size vacs, and other handhelds...have to say this one is best bang for the buck.

I had a aging dust buster, and a Black and Decker hand held that thought this Shark Ultra could replace, and for light pet hair it works great, but with the pet hair attachment on it lacks the full suction that my other two units had initially. When I use the crevice attachment the suction is better but not great, I have to go over areas multiple times. Something I don't have to do with my full size upright shark. In terms of features, I will say that the pet hair cleaner does keep the roller clean, and wit longer hair this is very helpful. The unit does not come with a method to hang it on the wall (like my other portable units both had). When it is being changed, there is a blue LED that blinks until the unit is fully charged. This took about 2h on the initial charge. The Ultra is pretty quite. With either of my other portables, my dog runs away. With the ultra vac I could actually vacuum his back (short haired dog, would not try with long hair), and he didn't seem to mind, but some times any new attention is good. I had to have my AC serviced, and I have lot's of pink stuff that always escapes, no change this time. The Ultra Vac did a nice job of picking up the light fluff. A pass or two and I had most of it. But some got tracked down to an oriental carpet, and the Ultra shark would not suck it up, ut not enough sucking power and the brush had little effect. My upright Shark, had no problem. It is easy to empty and clean, quite intuitive. Rinsing out the capture cup is a convenient feature. So for pet hair it was not bad, but for general purpose use I'd say it's underwhelming.

This is amazing vacuum . I have never expect power comes out of this tiny vacuum. If you use it for your vehicle for a small places this is the best vacuum I recommend.

Small and inexpensive. Does exactly what you want, is light weight and holds a more than enough charge its intended purpose.

Working good so far. The suction works well on various messes, including hair (human and pet). The collector does fill up pretty quick.

This is the best cordless handheld vacuum I have come across so far. The suction is surprisingly extremely powerful for a cordless vacuum. I do not have a pet and still use this one for quick pickups, hard to reach places and my car. The hair attachment is very handy and rotates so is very useful on car seats and carpets. Easy to clean and relatively quick charge. One charge lasts about 20 minutes of continuous use which is fairly decent.

Crevice tool could be a bit longer. That's the only downside. The pet tool doesn't work that good either. However this one has the strongest suction compared to the cheaper counterpart. Battery life and suction is good for car detailing.

Good size. Powerful for small jobs. Light weight and easy to clean.

I have owned a previous model of Shark Handheld Pet vacuum for several years, and was always pleased with it. This new design is excellent, and I love the new design of the Pet Power Brush with its self-cleaning feature. The suction is great for the size vacuum it is, and twin cyclone design works well to this end. I look forward to several years of use from this vacuum!
