Suction is great. Easy to clean out. Price was reasonable. BUT... storing it is an issue. It will not stand up on its own and it doesn’t fold up like my battery one. Go figure on that!!! You have to lay it down it it can fall! Bought for my daughter in law. She has to hid it behind the couch laying down. It is awkward to store.

This does a good job vacuuming. Has a long cord so I'm able to vacuum my whole one bedroom apartment without moving the plug. Even though the dust chamber is small and thus needs to be emptied regularly, it's easy and only takes under 30 seconds to empty. It's not a HEPA vacuum but it's affordable. Only gripe is it has kind of a super high pitched sound when you are using it.

Wanted a small, light weight vac primarily for frequent hard floor clean ups. Works decently for cat litter on carpet and great for crumbs, cat fur, and dust on hardwood. It is not outrageously noisy. Edge cleaning could be better but has crevasse and dusting tools handy if necessary. Small pet brush works well on chairs & couch and the ability to use a shortened configuration on stairs is wonderful. Never been a fan of emptying bagless containers, but it's the only choice for a small vac.

This vacuum has lots of suction power and easy to store. It picks up hair really well and separates the hair from the dirt. However, the small attachments are horrible for picking up hair or just dust, needs redesigning. Also, It begins to make a squeaky noises when the dust container is half full, needs to be dumped frequently to work properly. The long tube gets dust bunnies stuck all the time.

Mixed feelings about this vacuum. It's got very good suction power--works great on hardwood floors and carpets--maneuvers into tight spaces, BUT the handle is not well-designed. The handle's so thick that it's difficult to hold and causes hand fatigue. The extra-long cord is a big plus, but a big con is the vacuum doesn't stand upright (unless you separate the top portion).

Very light and easy to maneuver, reaching places the old vac could not. Dust filled up in the dust bin, revealing dust the old vac never picked up. Awesome tool!

We bought this to vacuum the stairs and furniture & it does a fantastic job. Very easy to use & lightweight.

Love the Shark Vertex. Got it the day before yesterday and used it today for the first time. The only complaint, which really isn't a complaint but more of an observation, is that the top is heavy due to the motor and it won't stand on it's own. Other than that, I love the performance and it does an excellent job on my hardwood floors and the area rugs. The best of the best is that it is self cleaning and doesn't wind hair around the roller. I have long hair and I have had this issue with all the vacuums before this. Vacuuming is no longer a chore.

This thing works great and is so easy to use. Very nice to reach cobweb areas and edges. The power fins were really good.

Not too impressed with this vacuum. It’s not awful by any means but I was really looking for a cordless and missed the description that said this is corded. The suction was good but not as good as we needed for boarding dogs daily. We ultimately purchased the cordless Dyson Animal which turned out to be a better option for us.

Nice , light vacuum. Great for picking up dog fur (Australian Shepard ). Filters need changing often , you will get this pet , dust , dirt odor every time you use it. Didn’t see filters in Best Buy site. Amazon shipping me a set of 4 in 1 day. Step it up Best Buy

I love this vacuum! The suction is SO STRONG. I wish there was a lower suction option as its too strong for my area rugs-it gets sucked in. But I have a cordless vacuum for that so I don't care that much. The handheld has been a godsend sucking up pet hair-I was able to make my cat tree look almost new which seemed impossible before this vacuum. It is a big heavy compared to my cordless, but the power makes up for it. So easy to empty. And the hair really doesn't wrap around so that feature works well.I highly recommend it!

Works great, although it’s cordless. Don’t have to worry about battery charging. Suction is really strong and vacuum is very lightweight.

First unit I purchased eventually started smoking and caught fire. Shark sent me a brand new unit right away. Today my replacement unit started smoking and smelled badly of electrical fire. This seems to be a flaw in every unit and not isolated to my original purchase. Shark needs to do something.

Collects hair and other small things very well, especially great for houses with kids and dogs. I love this vacuum so much!
