More Powerful Than It Used To Be

This new one, for some reason, is more powerful than the older 1.1 cu ft 1000 watt Sharp. It cooks faster, reheats faster and best of all allows the owner to turn off the beeps if so desired. If I can get at least 5 years out of this one, I'll be happy.

Most of the functions are similar to the one we had to replace. I needed something that wasn't too large, so this was a good choice. I miss a few of the functions on my previous microwave, such as the melt option, but otherwise it suits our needs just fine.

The new one adds time to cook from the old one BUT I find it heats way more evenly. The difference in time to cook is longer but it's really only a minute or less and the even heat more than makes up for it. It's easier to clean too.
