A: How much does it weigh?
A: To answer my own question, I tried to exchange the plate but both of the boxed units and even the shelf display had the same plate, so I can only assume this is just a poor design. The plate does NOT drop into center hub so only thing moving the plate is the rolling action of those 3 tiny white rollers. Rotation is very jerky and food/drink items skate around the surface. Returning the whole thing and going with GE I guess. Will be sure to warn people to avoid this model. It might not be "defective" but it is sloppy and cheap.
