Cheap. Convenient Microwave.

During these times I didn't want to drop a hefty amount of cash for a new microwave. So I opted for something fast and convenience. This microwave was on sale and it was a really low price. The current reviews made me choose this specific one. Time will only tell if it lasts.

Replaced and older Sharp model.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased to replace an older Sharp Model that still worked, but the display went dim, plus we remodeled, so had to look for a smaller profile, plus this is stainless to match the stove and range hood. Given the old Sharp lasted for over 20 years we went with the same manufacturer. Controls are very similar to our previous model as is the door mechanism. This model is quite a bit quieter. Have used it several times and it works just fine.

Disappointed at first but turned out just fine!

I asked for another microwave while I was there but there were no additional ones at that store. I already had to travel to get there, but turned out the damaged package didn’t affect the microwave. Works great but is a little noisy but I can deal with that!

This new Sharp works flawlessly and is super ease to use and my wife can see the larger numbers on the number pad easily.

Functional, not Fancy

We had been using it for about 14 years. This one was as close as we could get to the old one. With one touch you can hit a number and it will start for that number of minutes. Or you can hit the start button repeatedly and get it to turn on in 30 second increments. We haven't tried the program features. I'm really pleased that we were able to find an economical Sharp microwave that so closely matched our dearly departed old one. Our only complain was that it was dented in the back corner when shipped in the warehouse box. It should have been placed in a shipping box to prevent damage.
