Drawer microwaves are pricy compared to countertop or above stove models. The display does not light up except for cook time. It should light up for all cooking options

Probably not a fair rating at a three. Would have loved to keep it.
Very cool product. Builder said that it would fit no problem. Make sure you measure twice! Returned it and got the countertop microwave with the trim package.

Damaged upon arrival

Unfortunately, the warming drawer would not close completely and had to be exchanged for a new one. Thermador Customer Service was excellent. However, this episode further delayed the completion of my kitchen by more than two weeks.

Got the Sharp microwave drawer installed on 11/23/22 , hardly used it coz we have a small microwave that we used from time to time. Tried to used the new Sharp drawer and it’s not heating up. You can open and close but not heating up and it’s not even a month!!!Called and they said same unit it not available till March 14 ,2023

Open the Microwave Drawer fully. The label is beyond the back wall of the microwave cavity facing up from the flat surface.

Purchased back in April 2022 as part of a kitchen remodel. Unit sat in its original packaging in our climate controlled living room until this week when it was unpackaged and installed by our kitchen contractor. Right out of the box, not only didn't the "open" button work (you had to manually pull the drawer out) but then the "START" button did not work either - basically rendering the unit non-functional. We didnt even get one single use out of it. Cant even give it a "performance" rating because it never performed! Needless to say my wife and I are very disappointed.

Defective Microwave

This microwave stopped working less than 4 months after installation. Sharp customer service is declining to service saying warranty is based on manufacture date of Nov 2021 although purchased Feb 2024. I am continuing to call and email Sharp - no response to date.

Worthless junk after less than two years

Terrible. After a year and a half it failed. After inspection by a tech it was determined it needed a new power board, relay board, display board, transformer, magnetron, and capacitor for a grand total of $900. After calling Sharp they did absolutely nothing to help with the situation. You’re better off buying almost anything else.
