So far so good, really neat microwave and seems to work well. Looks easy to clean too!

We bought our first one in Dec 2016 for our new home, along with 13k in other kitchen appliances. The salesman forgot to put the extended warranty on it so when it when bad in 2020 we had to replace the $1,200 unit ourselves. It was knocking and smoking at the end. We bought another just like it ,but made sure we had the warranty this time. Just 4 weeks later it was getting very hot to the touch even though we had not used it recently. I returned it for the Bosch model, which I hear is made by sharp. I hope to have better results. Easy install and removal was a plus though and otherwise the drawer worked fine and the features were nice. Buy something else or at least make sure you have the warranty!

Never had a drawer microwave before and it’s great! I’m never going back to a wall mounted microwave. It’s so convenient and so much tidier. Does everything a microwave needs to do.

When it comes to microwaves, sharp is my #1 choice. I love how you can hide the top control bar. Definitely free up space on my kitchen counter top

I would not buy this again. I wasn't wild about its performance--- you have to look up a code to cook vegetables; it is not flush with cabinets. But the real issue is that the glass spontaneously shattered after 2 years and now I have to spend $350+ to get a new door. It was not in use and no one had accidentally hit it or even touched it when we heard a pop and it looked like someone had hit it with a brick. Apparently, some doors have a defect in the glass that causes that to happen--- but Sharp does "not recognize" this as a defect. It was an expensive microwave to begin with... now more so.

Drawer microwave that is. Sharp puts control panel where you can see it! ALL other brands designed control panel facing down not up. With the Sharp you don’t have to crouch down to operate!

Looks great in our island. I’m so glad we went with the microwave drawers and the press open feature is nice.

An absolute showpiece in my custom stained cabinets. The black stainless is the way to go. If you're looking for a fancy upgrade to flex on your friends with, this is the appliance to go with. Do yourself a favor and purchase something that no one else has. The functions work great, the drawer slides in and out flawlessly, and makes it feel like you're living in the future.

I purchased my new Sharp built-in Microwave drawer to replace another older one and I loved the older one and I love this new one, too. Sharp makes an excellent microwave drawer. I'm a short person and it was always a safety issue to have to reach high up over a stove to use a common microwave. Bought my first Sharp microwave drawer over 7 years ago and this new one is wonderful, too. Highly recommend; the controls have a drop-down feature which hides them until used; very clean look.

Love this built in drawer microwave! We have a tight kitchen and this built in definitely saves room. Looks sleek and modern and works great !

We purchased a Sharp micro wave drawer as a Christmas present for our son. It fit perfectly into a space where their old on was. The best feature is the drawer automatically comes out or retracts and it has many setting controlled by sensors in the unit.

While we have only had this unit installed in our new kitchen for less than 30-days, we have used several of the functions and it has preformed flawlessly. The single biggest learning curve is the sensor cook settings. You have to either have them memorized of have the manual out when using them. Otherwise, it is powerful and heats a cup of water for hot tea faster than any other microwave we've owned. We did get the Best Buy extended warranty on it due to the reviews about the drawer motor or mechanism fails and the drawer will not open. So far, very happy!

Wonderful microwave. It’s super functional and easy to use

Its been 2 months since we have had this microwave. I really like the drawer functionality and its more easier to remove and place dishes in the drawer. We have ours in the island which helps save counter space on the kitchen .

The drawer feature is nice, but you do pay a lot extra for the look and the function of the drawer. We do like how it fits into our kitchen island...time will tell how durable it is.

The microwave works great and is very stylish in the island. The only complaint is that it is a little slow to open and close but not a huge deal and keeps items from spilling.

So far we really love this microwave. I mean, it's definitely still just a microwave and doesn't do anything special, but it looks sleek and works well. I find the top part you pull out to access the buttons a tiny bit hard to use. Also, it shows fingerprints so I'm wiping down often, but I expected that because that's the nature of stainless steel. Overall, no complaints. Definitely recommend.
