    Absolutely love everything about this microwave. Had it for two years and the mag tube shorted and burnt out. $1100 microwave just shot craps. Only one year warranty. I will not be buying this one again!

    Faulty Control Panel and Wiring - Stay Away

    Buyer beware: control panel stopped working after 18 mo. No help from Sharp. Would stay away. Not worth the money given the huge quality control issues.

    Do not buy!

    Do not buy this microwave. The customer service stinks. I bought it and because it died 15 months after delivery, Sharp has just washed it's hands off the unit. Might as well just get a new, reliable microwave from a better company for less than half the cost of this one, rather than spend the $$$$ to fix it. Also going to advise the cabinet design company we used to never ever recommend this product to anyone.

    Stopped heating

    This microwave was purchased about 18 mos ago. It’s beautiful and had worked well until now. It stopped working unexpectedly and no matter what we do it won’t heat. Very disappointed.

    Sleek design - poor functionality & lifespan

    There is no turn plate on the bottom of the microwave, so the heating is uneven. But dealt with it, as the flip out control panel and overall design was nice minimalist. However, after 3 years - it just went kaput and died one day. No warning, just dead. I would have expected a couple more years at this price point.

    Good for 16 months

    My wife called me today saying that the microwave had begun to smoke and she shut it off. I am frankly annoyed that this unit failed in less than two years. I have reached out to Sharp and am hoping they can assist with repairs but until I have a satisfactory resolution I will not make a change to my rating.

    Spending this much for what?!

    The popcorn button doesn’t work. None of my popcorn popped. My ten year old microwave worked better than this RIP My beloved Johnny Gilbert 2012-2022. This microwave doesn’t really heat food the best, it takes forever. Don’t get this sit still look pretty piece of modern junk! It can’t pop popcorn to save it’s poor little life. I’m never spending $1,300 on another microwave that only exists to look good. May as well have popped my popcorn above a car engine.

    Burnt out year 3

    Great looking part of my kitchen. Just burnt out in year 3 and called Sharp, said it was out of warranty. If I pay $1,200 for a microwave, Sharp should stand by that product.

    Only works for 13 months!

    This is the second Sharp microwave drawer I have and both broke after 13 months use! They don’t offer extended warranties either. At $1,200 to replace ever 13 months is expensive. I’m never buying another Sharp product.

    Best BuyDoes Not Honor Their Extended Warranty

    Best Buy won’t get me another 30” Sharp Drawer Replacement or the Magnetron to fix under their extended warranty that I purchased. Been waiting since May 2021.
