A terrible start

It’s only 2 days old and I’ve called tech support (got hung up on/disconnected) and spent about an hour trouble shooting and online googling possible answers. This is starting out with a real mess

horrible tv

I never write reviews but this tv has constant issues with connecting to the internet and freezing. I hate it. i’ve had technicians come out to reset it. don’t purchase.

Expected more from a company like Sharp...

Black Friday price was good at $500 but wasn't enough to convince me to keep it. Ended up going for a Sony which cost more but has amazing picture and quality. It's ok if you have a budget and aren't a huge movie buff but was not to my liking.

The TV keeps hanging

It get hang, only to get back working is to remove power. Then power on and manual press the power button. Otherwise, remote wont get detected. Never had a TV hang before.

Had turn up most shows to hear at an avg level and the sound wa sub par for the expectation of the quality of the TV Picture quality avg. Apple TV HD cable and both seems to be slightly less clear than the TV it replaced.

Don't buy for Android TV

The Android TV piece is bad. I can't pair my phone to control the TV and some apps just flat out don't work. There is some light leakage as well it seems in certain spots. Not a good TV

Bad Product

Boy was I wrong. The picture on this TV is HORRIBLE. I have to be honest because other consumers are looking at this same product. I thought it was my connections but through cable, antenna, fire stick, all the pictures were like a white cast was in the background & it wasn't clear at all. Most televisions these days you can see the holes & pimples in people faces. Not this TV. You can barely read small words on the screen. Even the set up screen wasn't that clear. Sharp I think it's back to the drawing board on that one. Then the associate said at the check out they didn't know sharp still made TV's. Gosh....

Not The Big Screen You're Looking For

I see most people happy with their tvs in these reviews but I must've gotten a bad deal on mine like a few others reviews I see. My TV has horribly distracting horizontal banding and just terribly blurry picture in some moments. It drives me crazy to the point where I just got my old 49in LG back out because the picture is so much better. I even put in a warranty request with Sharp for repair or replacement. I sent pictures of the banding clearing happening and they responded that it is working as intended. Sharp is not the brand you want.

LED display died after 9 days of use

Mounted it on my wall the day after I got it and it was pretty sweet for 9 days because THAT’S WHEN THE LED DISPLAY DIED. YES YOU HEARD IT RIGHT. 9 days and then the tv no longer worked. Luckily I got to return it back to Best Buy but what a pain in the butt that all was. So, I Picked up a nice Samsung 7 series 70” at BJ’s for $699 and I’ll tell you what, you can tell a serious difference in over all quality. Advice: Just pay the extra money to get a better tv.

Very disappointed

Picture quality is horrendous. The backlight is spotty on dark scenes, my 10 year old tv had better dark levels than this one. The build quality is bad also, I can see the foam gasket in several places coming out between the bezel and the screen. Android tv feels like it’s from 5 years ago. I’m really upset I purchase this and am considering returning it.

Horizontal banding

I replaced the tv for another and it had the same. It's the manufacturer. Overall i liked the Google Assistant. I returned it and bought an LG.
