I Love It!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have really bad nerve pain, which causes my upper spinal area to get very sore. After getting my massager, i was able to alleviate the pain after 20-30 minutes of use. The massager is compsct but has a nice weight to it. It comes with interchangeable massage heads, and a USB-C cable for charging. The battery also lasts for a long time. It’s been 4 days since I first charged it, and it’s still running strong.

Beats you like a drum
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sharper Image - Powerboost Deep Tissue Massager comes very nicely packaged in a nice case with that holds all the additional attachments and has a USB-C charging port. It is easy to switch out attachments by pulling it out and pushing the next attachment in. It has a nice digital display with percussion power level and battery life. It feels like a solid piece of machinery with a rubberized handle to reduce vibration while being held for more comfort. Even at the lowest power level of One, it does very nice job of massaging the tightness out of your muscles. It gets progressively stronger and quicker as you go up in power level, up to level Seven, however if you're using level Seven...I worry about you. It is solid...so it is a little bulkier than other deep tissue massagers I have used. Althought display is nice touchscreen, I would prefer to have a plus or minus button to adjust the power levels. Currently as it sits, you have to cycle through the whole power levels, if you went passed that level already. However, for the price point, this Sharper Image - Powerboost Deep Tissue Massager and all it's attachments in a nice carrying/storage case is a bargain! It's also gets much better if you can get someone to use it on you while you feel the percussions!

Good product
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am honestly very impressed with this tissue massager. It is not perfect but at this price-point it is a very nice purchase, in my humble opinion. The packaging is nice and the carry case is a nice touch and well made. The massager is not that heavy but is definitely not whisper quiet. You turn it on by long pressing the orange-yellow indicator button and you need to toggle through the different speeds by clicking on it. There are no hard switches. I like the fact that USB-C charging is there thus negating the use of another redundant charger. The attachments serve different purposes. There are the following attachments: Compression for sensitive areas. Bar for shoulder and biceps. Fork for shoulder and back. Cone for trigger points and knots. Round for large muscle groups. Flat for all areas. I have played around with the attachments and have found them to be useful. The fork was specially nice for the shoulder blades but you need someone to hold the massager for you. The cone is an all-rounder and can be used everywhere. The instructions say that hard areas or bony areas should be avoided. For the hamstrings, I have found both the Round and Compression attachments to be useful. HIghky recommended.

Excellent!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sharper Image Powerboost Deep Tissue Massager is a great product to help relieve some of those aches and pains. The build quality and power of this massager is great too! The best part about this massager is the powerful motor. I get a lot of tightness in my forearms to the point where it affects my hands and grip. Using this massager I was able to relieve a lot of tension and tightness and it feels so much better. I've used a different brand before this and the power doesn't even come close to the Sharper Image. The attachments are all good and each have their purpose. Some are more aggressive while others are good for general use. You get a nice molded case to store everything which is really handy. The LED display is nice and has a cool animation while charging or powering it on. To power it off you have to hold the power button for a couple seconds. The feel of the massager is good. I do think they should have gone with a more grippy handle as I feel it is kind of slippery and maybe a bit too wide. Not that big of a deal though. Overall, I definitely recommend this massager. Great power and quality with this one!

Outstanding and really impressed
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this product and use it everyday. I have had multiple back surgeries and have sore muscles and nerve pain all over my lower body. Tight muscles are a thing when you have nerve damage. I love that this comes with multiple attachments (6) to really get into every crevasse of your body and really work your muscles. The 7 different speeds really help too. Some areas need that extra power that is provided at the higher speeds. My thighs love number 7, its hard hitting but i feel so good afterwards. The digital display is really where this Deep Tissue Massager separates itself from others. Bright and big numbers for my tired eyes. My wife loves this massager too, we typically do it on one another in those tough to reach areas. She tends to like the lower speeds but still says it works her muscles really good. Sharper Image has always made quality products and this is no exception. Also The carrying case is very nice, it fits all the of the attachments and the massager its self. easy to take on trips as you dont risk losing anything. I feel like if you have any sort of aching muscles you should invest in this product.

It’s worth it.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this one, and I have several. Let’s talk about using this device, it’s super easy to use. Make sure to pull everything out of the box, and see that it’s all there. Afterwards, I would recommend charging completely before using it, that way you can check all of the modes. It took mine a long time to charge, it was probably sitting for a while on the shelf. But I’ve it’s charged, it’s gonna last for a while. The hardware on this one is very good, and does not feel cheap. I’ve used several of these, and sis do not hold up very well. Depending on what type of pain or discomfort you might be in, there are several options to take care of you. Be careful when taking them in and out, line up the place to insert each item. The pressure from each tip you use will create a different sensation, so be mindful of which one you are using. I’d say test each one on your leg out arm first, you can determine which one you should use depending on what you need. Overall, I’d say this is worth the price shown, even better if it’s in sale.

Great First Massage Gun
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sharper Image Powerboost Deep Tissue Massager is an impressive and relatively inexpensive massaging gun. Pros include a 3hr rated battery, a case that securely holds the various attachments and the gun, and a relatively quiet motor (depending on the speed level you choose). The only major "cons" would be "bouncing" (more on that later) against bone at low settings, weight, and the power/settings control. While I have tried all the attachments, I really only need 3 or 4 of them. The "fork" is useful along the spine. The two different "ball" attachments are good along fleshy muscle (thighs, calves, triceps, etc.). The "flat" attachment I use a lot for the lower back and shoulder blades. There is an included pamphlet suggesting which attachments to use for various body parts and muscles. Relief comes quickly, which is fortunate because the massage gun is a bit heavy (2 lbs, slightly unbalanced) and all that vibrating can be rough on the hands--especially if you are arthritic. I have not used another gun to know how the weight/vibration compares, but I am assuming most weigh about the same. I would venture to guess that cheaper guns are probably louder as this gun is pretty quiet especially on the lower settings. I definitly love the "numbing" relief that comes at level 6 or 7 (high) and the deeper relief that comes at a lower setting. It is worth noting that at lower settings (1-3) if you apply too much pressure especially in an area with bone (i.e. spine, hips) you can essentially knock the device out of rhythm and get more of a "painful jackhammer" effect of the head bouncing against bone. It is awkward and hurts, but you will quickly learn not to use too much pressure against your body while at a low setting. As for the speed settings themselves, they offer a good range from "slow to fast" but you must cycle through settings in one direction: low to high. So if you are at a 4 (medium) and would like to switch to a 2 (low), you must cycle up to 5, 6, 7, 1 before you get to setting 2. Longpress the power icon on the device's touch screen to turn it off, or the middle of the screen to increase speeds. There is an illuminated circle of bars to indicate remaining time/charge on the massager. Overall, a great starter (and perhaps permanent) massage gun for a good price with good battery life, options, and low noise.

Love this thing!!!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I can't say enough good things about this product. If you have a regular need to soothe sore muscles or alleviate nerve pain, you MUST get one of these! I'm not kidding when I say that it's been life-changing for me. Years ago I had the unfortunate experience of being struck by a vehicle. This left me with permanent spinal damage. It also caused me to have intermittent problems with the nerves in my arms and sciatica. Physical therapy has definitely helped as do muscle relaxers when necessary, but they only go so far. There are days where they barely help at all and those are loooong days that are both terribly physically and mentally draining. Enter the Powerboost Deep Tissue Massager. It's not exactly like having your own live-in personal masseuse, but it gets close enough for me. Pain from the base of my neck radiating down the back of my shoulder(s) that causes numbness and tingling down my arms? Hit it with a warm compress and a nice kneading from the Powerboost. 20 minutes and it's like night and day. Especially with the pointier massager head. A total game-changer. The battery life on this thing is also just crazy! I charged it when I got it, used it a ton (I wish I had kept track specifically, but it had to be for HOURS), and didn't have to toss it on the charger again for quite a while. It also charges pretty quick which is really nice. The included carrying case is super nice and very convenient since I now don't go anywhere where I'm staying overnight without it. Once you have one of these you won't want to be not have one ever again!

Great massage for those sore muscles
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sharper Image as a brand had been something I've always considered fun and unique. Over the years I've seen many things that I would have never considered available and some I tried and came away pleasantly surprised. I haven't really had a massager before, pretty much because it has always been something I've considered and then moved on from. This massager truly surprised me. I didn't really know what to expect, except that I didn't know how the build quality would be. This massager is solid. It has some heft but not cumbersome to handle and it doesn't feel out of balance. It feels like quality. It has 6 attachment heads that when applied address muscles in different ways and promote different intensities. They are easy on/easy off and are very secure. The massager motor has 7 speeds that translate to intensities also, and I would say that for me I can achieve a good, deep tissue massage with the third speed. When I cranked this 7 it was almost too much for me, but I can easily see it being amazing for someone who needs that real intense massage. The digital readout on the back is simple but easy to operate and clearly shows what setting you are on. Along with the massager comes a hard side case that houses the massager and all attachments and also has a netted pocket that you can slip a usb-c cable into which is all you need to charge the internal battery. Overall, this is a really great device for those after gym pains and I would definitely recommend this massager for relief and relaxation.

Great Massager with multiple attachments
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sharper Image Powerboost Plus Deep Tissue Percussion Massager is a great device. The massager comes in a compact case which stores neatly and keeps things organized. The case is sturdy and stands upright. There are 6 attachments that are used for different areas on the body and up to 7 speeds. The device charges using a USB C charging cable, which it comes with. No block included which is a con. Also no place in the case to store a block, which would come in handy if you travel with the device, another con. I found the device a little large to grip, in that it is slightly larger than a vacuum handle. It also has a good bit of weight to it, making the grip harder to use over time. Additional con in my opinion. The device does not have any annoying vibrations that other devices do have. My teeth did not rattle like other devices I have tried!! It is quiet as stated on the box. The compression attachment feels so terrific on my sore back from a sore muscle that never seems to go away. It is very gentle but alleviating at the same time. I also used the round attachment on my shoulder where I have bursitis and found relief as well. I used the lowest setting on both areas so as to not to be stiff and in worse shape than when I started using it. Overall I would highly recommend the Sharper Image Powerboost Plus Deep Tissue Percussion Massager to any household. It is like having your own home massaging device. Also this would make a great gift for anyone!!

This Massager is Great
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Sharper Image - Powerboost Deep Tissue Massager - Black is my first deep tissue massager. I will start by saying my only wish is that I wish there could have been a wider attachment. Like one that covers more of your skin surface. However, I recognize that this is a handheld device and it works great for what is it. That said, I love the massager. I have used it to massage away some pain that is not related to working out and exercising. Had a knot in my lower left back that I just could not work out on my own. A couple minutes with the massager, and the knot was gone and I literally was pain free. I have also used this after exercising to help prevent some of the muscle soreness that comes along with working out, lifting weights, and exercising. I would like to mention that this is pretty easy to use. There is a card inside that tells you the name of the attachment, the recommended body parts to use it, and what it's good for. Very helpful. I have let my kindergarten niece use it, making sure she keeps it aways from her bones. She asked if I would buy her one when she turns 16. I have let house guests use it and they all love it.

No clue I needed one of these.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like the title of my Review said. I did not know I needed this product in my life but I am so glad to be using it every week to assist in my overcoming physical pains and aches. For the past year or so I have been working with a chiropractor to help with some major shoulder and lower back pain. Both happen to be on the right side of my body. The Sharper Image Powerboost massager has helped me to be able to loosen muscles and ligaments that have been refusing to release over the last year. My shoulder and neck have started to have a lot more motion and less stiffness since I began my therapy sessions with the deep tissue massager. I also enjoy using this on my calves. I stand a lot at work and this has helped me to be able to relax and stretch my legs after work. Overall this product has been a huge improvement for both focusing on areas that need therapy or I have been working on in therapy and it has improved my general day to day physical wellness I participate in like stretching. I recommend this product. It will help you to find reliefe in ways you did not think it could.

A decent massage gun
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This massage gun will get you good. The rubber handle is very nice to the touch and the general build quality of it is good. It does not feel cheap at all. It comes with a nice case to hide it in and several attachments, all of which I still haven not completely figured out the use for. The default ball attachment is honestly good enough for most uses. It has 5 speed settings. However, the first setting is already fast so going higher just gets quite more aggressive. The battery holds up quite well. It can go a few days without charging. The charging speed is good enough. It's not incredibly quick, but full charging shouldn't be that much of a necessity anyway. The worst part about this is how you turn it off, on, and change the speed settings. It is all just one button and it is a weird touch button. It's barely responsive sometimes and if that was changed, it would make the use of this massage gun so much easier. Don't get me wrong, this is a decent massage gun, but it leaves a lot to be desired.
