Be cautious there is a possibility that the gift card you bought might not be activated especially if you bought it online. I bought 4 cards all for myself, but noticed that the cards are all sealed perfectly while usually the clerk had do open up the bar code to scan when check out in store. So I test use them ASAP in gas station and found exactly as I suspected. Online chat was easy to request a new order of 4 cards but need in-store pickup, which I do prefer coz I can then check whether they are activated or not. However, this may not be easy for everyone. Just be cautious if you buy the cards to send friend as a gift. It may become a big embarrass for you.

A little difficulty spending at merchants. Some retailers won't accept it. But I use the gas card to get through the month and allotment towards gas funding.

Very good card; They need to show balance of gift card after each purchase. They (Shell stations) currently don't put correct balance on store receipt.

I purchased These gas card gift cards alot and it is pretty handy also for my kids to use, so I don't have to worry so much about borrowing my credit card for gas. No worries because they have the shell gas gift card!

All 3 off the Shell Gift cards that I ordered from Best Buy and were delivered to my home via FedX were not activated and when my son was at the gas station he was unable to use them. When I went into Best Buy looking for help they said tey could not help me and that I should call Shell. I called Shell while inside of Best Buy and Shell informed me that the error was on the part of the Best Buy... They relayed the to that none of the gift cards had been activated. When I trying to relay this info to the manager he never came to the front desk to speak with me and just was walking around the showroom doing nothing.. (the store was basically empty of customers). He also said that he was going to send me an email with a copy of a receipt which turned out to be a lie... Horrible customer service from the manager ... There was one nice and caring worker who spoke with me (not a manager.). Thank you to him for caring. He told me to call Best Buy at the 800 number during daylight hours and that they would resolve this (hopefully)

Something’s are always easy but for last minute gifts and having Best Buy provide this option it’s always good to know.

It served its purpose by pay for our gas for our vacation. Withour it we would have been shirt on cash.

I had problems using the card for the first time. Shell could not activate the card and recommended I contact Best Buy. I did reach the customer service center who then transferred me to technical services to get the card activated.

I ordered 3 cards for $50. I noticed when they arrived, 2 of the 3 cards didn't have the back cardboard ripped off which is required to activate it. I decided to check the balance on these cards online and found out that 2 of the 3 cards were not activated. Super glad I didn't give these away as gifts and find this out. Upset that this could happen in the purchasing process online and now I am having to deal with trying to get my $100 back or the value on the cards. I didn't realize I would have to work so hard to not get scammed.
