Shenmue games are... not great. They cater to a very specific mindset, and you should absolutely watch a gameplay video or 5 before diving in. That being said, if you enjoyed them before, this is a nice bundle of nostalgia.

I never really had the opportunity to play the Shenmue games when I was growing up, I always heard amazing things about the series from long time fans. Sadly, though it is more of a port than a remaster. As a result, that did slightly affect my enjoyment since it does not improve upon anything.

Shenmue started out in the dreamcast and this is a amazing "hd" remix because its not fully HD but they take it wide screen and improve a lot of graphical glitches that perhaps the dreamcast couldn't handle, this is a must own if your a fan of yakuza games.

Bring the emotion from the past back to new console was a great add. Fighting gangs, drive forklift, review old arcades at game arcade and discover different paths was all cool again.

One of the most ambitious games Sega has ever made has arrived. They updated the game to have virtually NO LOAD TIMES!!! Playing classic Sega games within the game is awesome. If you’re a backer for part 3, you should refresh and get this.

Don're run into this expecting GTA V level fluidity in animations. Appreciate it for what it is, A classic genre-defining game of the 90's with graphics that now make it tolerable to gaze upon with our modern eyes.

I loved these games as a kid at the height of the Dreamcast and I'm excited to have them now again, however I wish they had remastered them a little. Now I have to go and spend hours with capsule machines.

Playing Shenmu for the first time. It has always been one of those grail games that people rave about, but the aging shows with some old game mechanics that are more annoying than innovative at this point. Overall OK considering the price for 2 games.

As long as you aren't expecting a remastered version then you will probably like it. I actually had it on my dreamcast but never beat it. I'm enjoying it now but honestly if I wasn't reliving my past I'm not sure I would like it as much.

Shenmue was one of the defining games for the Sega Dreamcast. Although the second game never came out of the Dreamcast in America (it was released on the Xbox), it's still a very important game for Sega. I love it!

Not knowing anything about the series going in, I’m so glad I’m taking my time with this “Life simulation” RPG. The Music is fantastic and the atmosphere feels so nostalgic, like I’ve always played game but at never have.

This is a revival that brought back fond memories both from my life and from the game. If you enjoy the jRPG genre and don't mind pleasant games with gaps between action, this is for you.

I have been a long time Shenmue fan i was happy to get this collection especially for the price i just wished it offered more content if your new to the series this should be a must have.

Shenmue 1 & 2 are considered some of the best games created for the Dreamcast. While I may not hold any nostalgia for the Shenmue games like others do, I still had an enjoyable time with them.

Good game, fast delivery. Had issues initially with purchase being canceled, customer bounce around to get items reordered but overall satisfaction with outcome

Been waiting this all my life from the Original Xbox version and Sega Dreamcast . Brought back memories. Excited that they came out Shenmue 3 as well.

Game definitely hasn’t aged well and not many people are going to like it but it’s one of my favorite games ever so I think you should try it.

I love that I'm able to play this on the PS4. I was actually looking at buying a Dreamcast again prior to them announcing the re-release.

Grew up playing and beating the first one but never played the 2nd since I couldn't justify buying an xbox just for the second one but it's great to finally play both of them back to back!

This is one of the best game of all time back when it was released on the Dreamcast. New comers might feel the game is dated but everyone should experience this game.
