I remember playing Shenmue 1 on the Dreamcast when it came out. It was such an amazing open world experience for the time. Sadly it didn't sell well and the sequel didn't make it to the U.S. until it came out on the original xbox. The collection here looks and plays fantastic. Both games look even better in HD though you can see it's age. The games run well on this compilation and I haven't had any issues so far. Definitely worth a look if you are interested in Shenmue. The price is also fantastic!

Going area to area, loading fights, changing days - that used to take forever on the DC. Now you can actually do stuff without the pain. It was an introduction for many to an open world of sorts and very cool. Graphics seem to be the same, at least they are as I remember... DC was great. It's fun but... It's been passed by. But I play... To experience it again is a nice memory but more so bc I want an ending to a story I remember.

It's a nice couple of stories, and a fun trip back in time if you had them on the Dreamcast growing up. The games can be a little hard to understand from the translated dialogue and cultural differences. It's still a fun package, be sure to pick it up during a sale.

Played the Dreamcast and Xbox versions when the both came out a long time ago Great reliving these two games with an graphic upgrades are minimal. Still a worthy purchase.

For better or for worse. Same mechanics, a little clunky and really should have been a complete remake. Tough to go back to playing.

If you have fond memories of playing the original Shenmue 1 and 2 on your Sega Dreamcast or Xbox, you'll be happy to know that the experience you remember looks better than ever and includes several much needed quality of life improvements.

I enjoyed playing the Shenmue games on my Dreamcast years ago, and now you can replay them on your XBox One, or discover them for the first time. The games run smoothly, but some parts of the game definitely show their age. Still, a fun pair of games to play.

Shenmue was my favorite game on Dreamcast and playing through it again is so nostalgic. I lived in Japan for 4 years and this game nails the environment perfectly. If you love a good story and are a lover of Japanese culture playing this game is a must!

Finally an easy way to play these dreamcast classics on a modern t. It's worth it for that alone. The visuals haven't aged particularly well, theres still a fun deep story from the grandfather of open world gaming that made it possible today.

Shenmue is ported on the Xbox and it's just like the classic on the Dreamcast. It is a but dated, but it's great for people who want the nostalgia of playing Shenmue.

A nice trip down memory lane. So glad this piece of gaming history was re-released for modern gamers.. been waiting for this since the Dreamcast version was released way back when.

These games were popular around twenty years ago, however, these remade masterpieces bring back all of the excitement in one easy volume.

Pretty decent if you enjoyed the originals on the older consoles. Good way to relive them.

I always like this game when I had my dreamcast. Know that I'm older I like the remastered look and feel of the updated graphics

After finally being remastered this is a great game for those who want to relive the series and be excited for the 3rd game.

I had the original releases, and just had to have them for XB1. Had fun the first time, still having fun now playing these games!

The only thing that would make this collection better. Is if it had been released on Switch, so I could play on the go.

This sure does take me back 20 years ago with playing these on the Dreamcast. An awesome value for what you get.
