This is a great follow up game for the first two picked up right where it left off from the last one also came with a great steel book.

This game is very tedious be warned. But it does have some glorious shenmue magic and discovery like the old games. Never played shenmue but this was worth the price. I would say everyone should give it a go depending on how much it is.

Graphically, Shenmue III looks better than both I & II. But overall, the mechanics, dialogue, spirit of the game is very archaic. I’m sure its meant to be this way in order to keep to the classic feel of the two older games. But it was pretty jarring for me being new to the series and clunking my way through the intro, feeling like I was playing a 15-20 year old game with remastered visuals/audio. I stopped pretty abruptly after about an hour of gameplay. I will be returning to finish the game eventually as I do have a pretty large backlog and I DO feel like I can still enjoy this game once I situate myself in the correct mindset, but I would recommend buying this on sale as I did for around 8$. It also includes the steelbook, which was my main drive to buy as I love collectibles. I’m sure a fan of the series will find this more enjoyable and enthralling from the get-go, but for me it will take some time for the story completely catch my attention.

We were left with a cliffhanger 18 years ago from Shenmue 2 and we finally have a continuation. So far it’s been great. Graphics looks nice, dialogue is nostalgic, fighting is a little weird since it’s new, but I’m liking it so far.

Waited as many did years for this continuation of this Saga. Came with a beautiful steel book. Grab it as you can. It is worth it

Not bad enjoyable story yet some what slow in spots. Just my opinion

Having played the original games when they first released on the Dreamcast, I was looking forward to wrapping up the trilogy. However this game is stuck in time and what was new then is old news now. While the game does nothing new to truly push the mechanics and story forward. It is a fun diversion for those of you that love the series.

I am a huuuge fan of the first 2. With that being said...maybe I had higher expectations. Keep in mind, I paid $10 for this. It's clunky and the voice acting is atrocious. With that being said, it wasn't the worst game I have played this year.

Great game and value. A good mix of Shenmue 1 and 2. It doesn’t finish the saga, but it’s still fun and enjoyable.

I'm so glad Shenmue III has finally come. It's been so long and now we get to play it and see the story continue.
