Great game if you play the others 2 games u need this

If you like 1& 2 it’s a no brainer. Great sequel !

Finally we get the 3rd game, over 20 years and the first two games was on the Sega Dreamcast. The original Xbox also had just the 2nd game.. but know let's finish what we started over 20 years ago on the Dreamcast

If you really liked the first two, you know what you are getting. It's very much catered to the fans. If you are expecting a modern version of the franchise, you won't find it here. Overall good game and quality addition to the franchise.

Definitely a game that was created for another time. The graphics and controls are from 2010. The story is on point like the other games, so still worth a play.

Haven't beat 3 yet but after getting roughly 60% through the game, it scratches the same itch while keeping the quality of the old games but also has some new additions or modern tweaks and trends I'm personally not 100% fond of.

Candidly, I have no idea what the hell is going on. As I understand it, this homeboy wants to kill some people for killing his dad? But first he needs to utilize his rich background in forklift driving first? And man does he ask a bunch of questions. But dude does spinning heel kicks like a mofo. You're my boy, Ryu.

The game style mimics previous Shenmue games so don't expect too much from it. Other than the bad dialogs, the game is enjoyably to play as you explore the world but there are parts that are a bit tedious.

Pure nostalgia in a can. Hasn’t aged well but for long time fans it’s good to see more progression from a game we all knew and loved growing up.

This isn't the sequel I was hoping for. Seems rushed for one, somewhat aimless and it fails to adequately end the story. Great steel book though!

I am really glad that Shenmue came back, but this game is pretty average. If you're a huge fan of the older games you could still find some enjoyment but as a standalone game I don't think it really captures the feeling the older titles gave you. I will say I feel the combat is better than the older games but otherwise I much prefer the previous ones. ***This game has been heavily discounted, so if you are semi-interested and can find it for $10 or less it might be worth a shot.

If you love the games it's for you. If not then look elsewhere like the Yakuza series. Grew up playing the first one on Dreamcast and later on Xbox. I love these games and I hope they make a 4th game.
