A bit of a let down but for the low price I felt it was worth it. If you like the other games you’ll at least appreciate this.

Execellent story, gameplay is very dated. The control scheme and all the loading screens feels like resident evil 1 on the playstation

I have being waiting for this game since I had a Sega Dreamcast. I can't believe it's finally here. Beautiful and yet similar to the originals.

Gameplay is outdated when compared to other current gen games, but graphics are presented well enough (aside from the unsteady frame rate on base PS4). There is a wealth of activities to do in game in addition to the main story. I haven't played the first two Shenmue games, so I got a bit lost in the story, but I had to purchase this game since it was on sale for only $8. If story is good after beating this game, I may be compelled to purchase the first two games since they have been remastered for current gen.

I don't feel this is as good or ground breaking as 1 & 2 but still good enough and if it comes with the free collectable steel case. It's a great deal to complete the series.

For better or worse, Shenmue 3 plays and feels incredibly similar to the previous titles. This means flaws and all. Ultimately, if you enjoyed those games, you’ll likely enjoy this one too.

I was able to get not only this but an unexpected surprise of a steel case came with this as well. I wasn't able to get to the store to pick up the free add on so Best Buy sent this as well. Thanks so much, I'm excited to have that in the Christmas gift to my son as well.

Classic Shenmue. While it didn't really move things forward, it hit all of the familiar notes from the Dreamcast days. I liked it, didn't love it, but am glad I played it.

After completing Shenmue 1 and 2, I am somewhat hooked to find Lan Di. The graphics are much better than part 1 and 2. I am half in on Shenmue 3, it is just like part 1 and 2 which involves much running around and asking villagers in your quest.

Yu Suzuki’s masterpiece returns after 20 years . This time taking place in rural China. This game looks like it was made 15 years ago and remastered. Might be a little rough looking to younger crowds. However, I think it helps it fit in better with Shen Mue 2’s look.

From Metacritic; GAMECRATE - To put it politely, Shenmue III has the potential to charm existing fans of the Shenmue saga, if only in how much it painstakingly recreates the stilted beauty of its two predecessors. this game plays just like the old shenmues played. its hard to recommend if you're not already a fan of the first shenmue games.

I’ve been waiting 20 years for Ryo to finish his story, and it was worth it. The OG Ryo voice is back and I love that they kept the graphics in the same style as the Dreamcast without going full PS4 mode.

Shenmue III is Yu Suzuki's swan song... that he wants to make like 6 more games in, I don't hate this game, but I hate that mentality, I am going to be 75 years old before this game series gets concluded.

A bittersweet treat for me as a Shenmue fan, but Best Buy doesn't matter in that regard. I can't even play it, but I'll own Shenmue III. The shipped it when they said, in a study padded envelope and it was free shipping.

Big fan of the Shenmue series since the Dreamcast days. So excited to have this title after over 15 years in waiting. I cannot believe the deal I got on this item I paid all of $10 for it and came with a steel case.

Honestly, between the cheap price and the free Steelbook. That's the only reason I got it

Shenmue 3 is a gorgeous looking game but is an acquired taste. Gameplay can be slow, but if you played the first games you know what you are getting into.
