Love the upgraded graphics!

This game actually makes the characters look like real humans. The first two games made the characters look like boxes. The gameplay is very smooth and fun! This is truly an experience and I’d recommend for your friends who are into Japan and Japanese culture.

Shenmue III does not disappoint.

A whole new generation for people to get to experience the most immersive world in gaming. This game does not disappoint. If you're a Shenmue fan then you will love it and for new players you need to understand the story then play it. It's not in action game that you shot everything or destroy thing's around you it's a game that you need to ask search and train to get to the next location.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This game is trash, its all built around nostalgia with hopes of blinding your realistic expectations of what a modern game in 2019 should be. It plays like and looks like Shenmue 2 on the PS4, there are mobile games that look way better than this and probably didn't cost close to how much kickstarter funds this raised. I'm honestly questioning how all that funding was spent developing this. You would think being the third installment of a franchise and the amount of time in between there would be significant improvements, nope, its like they had this game made already 18 years ago, put a $5 suit on it and sent it out the door to prom. The voice acting is horrid, and if your argument is that's how the originals are, or that's how Shenmue games are suppose to be, you should really raise your expectations. I consider God of War to be a masterpiece and one of the best games I've ever played, and when it was $60 it was worth every penny of that price tag. Shenmue 3, isn't worth more than $9.99 in the bargain bin.
