The movie is pretty good, but the special effects are not that good. The infant Godzilla looks ridiculous.

A very good movie. Different than most godzilla movies

It was nice to have the re-boot of Godzilla. However, a good portion of the film is spent mocking Japanese politics and their bureaucracy. According to sources, there was 26 speaking parts, most centered around the bureaucracy. The effects with Godzilla itself were good, but not spectacular. Cinematography was excellent. This film is for die-hard fans of Godzilla.

I missed the limited run in the theater. I am glad that I caught it here. It is a cool modern take on a classic monster.

The film was okay, but it is clearly the complete opposite of what the Legendary Godzilla is all about.

Honestly, I was kinda disappointed. The monster goes through several transformations throughout the film. In the beginning, the CGI was awful and it looked a horrible video game adaptation. He looks better as the movie moves along. The other subplots in the film were pretty boring. I didn't have much interest in any of the characters except for Godzilla.

It’s better without subtitles.I thought it would tie into King Kong though. It had a nice surprise at the end.

The movie was a great reboot for the toho studio. I really look forward how the second movie will be seeing how it ended.

I've been a huge Godzilla fan since the japanese films and this adaptation doesn't disappoint like the 1998 version

Picked this up for my five year old and I. Loved it! He lost track of the talky bits but overall loved it.
