It's a decent movie. I like the renewed take on everyone's favorite monster. But be warned the movie can be slow. If you're just looking kaiju distraction and little to no humans this isn't the movie for you.

This is just like the original film back in the forties. There is a lot of reading subtitles. Godzilla even shoots lasers from his tail and his back, not like the old films. Lots of talking, little action.

...and I am not sure if that is a good thing or not. I'm really mixed on this one. If you want a new take - or an old take - then you should probably check this out. Really borderline for me.

this movie is more about the response of the government or lack of response . when godzilla is on screen its pretty good but maybe its only 10 or 15 minutes.

This was hard to review because it's so different from all the other Godzilla movies. The special effects were amazing but didn't feel the connection between the actors and Godzilla.

Sub titled thru entire move. But beside that. Good movie. But if I would have researched this movie and sub titled Would have waited for price to come down

The movie is great. But this is advertised as having a digital code. It simply does not work. UV doesn't exist anymore and Funimation has no way to process the codes. This is a known issue apparently, but it doesn't tell you on any storefront. I bought this mostly for the code. I was very disappointed that it didn't work.

A return to the old Godzilla. Same old music, miniatures, and done like when we all grew up. Just add in a little current effects is just right.

This movie is only for true Godzilla fans. If you are not a hardcore fan this is probably not the best movie to start the franchise off with.

I love Godzilla movies. The story was OK, but GG was very average. Several occasion the Godzilla looked exactly like a toys from Toys R Us.
