This game is awesome. Never played a game like this before. I find this game a bit difficult but i like it. The battle animations seems a little weak but i understand this was a port and I'm glad it got a physical release on switch.

Having SMT III brought to modern systems, and the Switch with its portable handheld gaming no less, is a huge treat. The issue for me isn’t the slightly less than ideal port job, but rather the lack of the merciless difficulty mode being on the cartridge. I’m grateful it is available to use. but having to download it separately as DLC was unnecessary.

Hard to pass up SMT III on the go, I have played the original PS2 version but did not finish the game. Maybe now that that I can play anywhere I can finally finish this game. Great atmosphere and soundtrack and its SMT what else can you ask for.

So awesome to see this ps2 classic on a modern portable system. For long time SMT fans you know what you’re getting into, anyone else look forward to a hard hitting JRPG.

This is a well done remaster of my favorite game from the series. If you've never played Shin Megami before you'll need to read up on the story before beginning. If you like Persona you'll like Shin Megami Tensei III.

Would recommend for anyone who's tired of Pokemon's most recent low quality games. This is a much darker game, with an actual challenge, and an actual good story. Must play for fans of monster collecting games.

Faithful remaster of the original. Childhood self more than pleased with the results.

I wasn't into shin Megami before but after playing this, I've become a fan! I love the strategy RPG mix this game gives. And on the switch, I love the portability. Get this!!

The game itself is great. But atlus's lazy attempt at an "HD Remake" leaves much to be desired. From the compressed 4:3 480p cutscenes ripped straight off of a PS2, or the super compressed audio and music that sounds horrible.

Awesome update to a cult classic. The merciful mode is great for those concerned with the random and brutal difficulty smt is known for and the voice overs are a nice addition.

This game and even series in general are great. Classic negotiation to recuit monsters. For those who enjoyed the series its fun i recommend it. But not for persona fans.

Got this as played Shin Megami tensei 4 and wanted to experience this since haven't had the opportunity to play it back in the day when it first came out

Major update to a classic game. The graphics has made this game come back to life in a great way. It’s a must buy!!

An instant classic remade for the switch! An amazing series that shows its true colors in the return of this masterpiece. I highly recommend it!

Excellent Remaster and preparing fans for Shin Megami Tensei 5. If you like classic JRPG with a good story and challenge, this is the game for you!

The game came on time and was the perfect birthday gift. The only downside , the compressed music from the ps2 version, is on the remaster version.

Solid updated release to original, just be ready for a crazy ride. Nice to have on the go as well, makes for some interesting mobile gameplay.

Having never played the game when it came out on the PS2, I'm really loving it. The pacing is really well done; you have a lot of battles mixed together with the cinematics and story. There is a fair amount of dark humor involved. If you like turn-based JRPG combat combined with a Pokemon-esque mechanic of capturing demons to use in battle, you will enjoy this game.

I don’t have much to say other than purchase this game and judge it yourself. I didn’t find this game overly grindy and it was a lot of fun.

Wonderful game love every second of it , can't wait for 5 to be released got hooked on this game , and all of the game altas has made !!
