These are my first open-ear earbuds, and the experience has been excellent so far. They sit securely without going inside the ear canal, which makes them extremely comfortable for long listening sessions. I can still hear what’s happening around me while enjoying my music and videos.
The sound is clear and well-balanced, especially vocals, and calls come through clean on both ends. Battery life easily gets me through a full day of casual use, and the charging case feels solid and compact. The Dolby Audio support adds a nice sense of depth without sounding artificial.
Overall, these feel thoughtfully designed and practical for everyday use. I’m very satisfied with the performance and comfort and would recommend them to anyone looking for open-ear wireless earbuds.

OpenFit 2+ sound is amazing, the clarity of the instruments, vocals, and there is now noticeable bass. This type of earphones usually struggle on the bass. The bass is subtle and it is more pronounced when you turn on Dolby Audio in the EQ application.
It is also very comfortable to wear and have on for long periods of time because it just sits there on your ear and the earpiece just hovers over your ears. I usually have to take my earphones out with silicone types to decompress after some use, but these I never had to. The battery life is absolutely amazing, finally just charged it after using it for a few hours last week and still had some juice left.
Calls has been clear with the people i spoke with on the other line, you the app gives you a option to turn on noise cancelation for calls. I tried it and the others has said they don't notice any difference, but that is only with a few calls I used it for.
This Shokz OpenFit2+ surprised me beyond my expectations considering what I primary got it for, and thats to be able to still be able to hear my surroundings. It turned out to be my go to for earphones in general because how good it is.
Shokz really nailed it with these and I definitely have my eyes on more of their earphones down the line to see how much more they can improve.

The sound quality is extremely high. Excellent for sports. It doesn’t fall out of your ears. It doesn’t irritate the ear canal. The battery last a long time.

Love the Shokz OpenFit2+. One of the best open earbuds out there. They are incredibly comfortable that I forget I’m wearing them. Music is clear, answering calls with a touch of a button makes it easy to speak and hear the other person.
They’re easy to set up without having the app. Uploading the app will give you access to Dolby Audio options, Find My Earbuds, battery levels and so on…
What I look for:
- They have to be comfortable; I can wear these for hours
- Sound, especially for open-ear earbuds is excellent
- Great battery life
- Easy connectivity
- 2 year warranty a plus

I went into the Best Buy Willow brook location to look for a good quality Bluetooth. I was immediately approached by a young lady who was of great help. After listening to several earbuds I decided to go with Shokz- Open fit. They are comfortable and fit on the outside of the ear. Very light and comfortable to wear.

I own nearly every pair of Samsung earbuds and have always loved them, but these stand out as truly different. At first glance, they look a bit large and obtrusive, yet once they’re around your ear, you hardly notice them—unless the sound is playing. They’re incredibly comfortable, so lightweight that you forget you’re even wearing them, and the audio quality is outstanding. The sleek color and excellent price make them even better. I was so impressed that I ordered a pair for my husband right after mine arrived

I absolutely love these! I can't wear normal earbuds for more than a few minutes without them hurting. Since these don't go into the canal they are perfect! I don't feel like I am sacrificing sound quality like with other open earbuds. They are light and don't feel like they are going to fall out when I move around. I love that I can listen to music while still being able to hear my surroundings. My only complaint is my ears do get a little sore after wearing them all day. Other than that they are amazing. Also the blue is really pretty!

Exactly what I have always needed! Ear buds never seem it fit my ears right and end up hurting. These are so comfortable and stay in place. They sound crystal clear and I like that you can change the tone with the app! Highly recommend!

The Shox OpenFit two Plus nails workouts with its adjustable hooks that lock in during sprints and burpees. Crisper highs and better noise cancelation make music pop, even in noisy gyms, with a hefty battery life—around thirty hours with the case, plus faster charging. They're sweat-proof at IP sixty-seven, so no worries about intense sessions. Only downside? The case is a bit bulky. Still, awesome pick for staying focused!

great sound and the biggest thing for me is I legit forget that I am wearing these. No ear fatigue and they don't fall out which is huge when I'm either working out or riding my MTB.

These sound great. They are comfortable enough that youll forget that your even wearing them. I wear them all day M-F then charge them via the case every night. I only have to plug the case in on Friday night. My only wish would be that they had an adjustment to how far they sit into the ear. If you push them in just a little more they sound so much better.

These are a great option for work situations. Because of the open design, these earbuds do not cancel noise from your surroundings the same as an ANC pair would, but that is completely fine, if not useful in its own way. They help the wearer stay aware of their surroundings so they don't get hit by a car crossing the street or accidentally ignore or mishear people speaking to them.
I bought these for my mother who often complains that inserted earbuds hurt after a while. These do NOT go in the ear, and she has not complained about any pain yet. Despite not fitting into the ears, though, there is very little noise spillage unless you turn the volume on your device up very loud. She uses these earbuds for her office job, and she can answer calls with the earbuds because there is a built in microphone.
Overall, these are a good option for listening usages in more public settings.

Amazing choice after a great deal of deliberation. Sound quality is good on phone calls as well as podcasts and audiobooks. I dont like the feeling of anything on my ears yet find these to be comfortable. I lost many in ear alternatives and these stay secure.

I bought this for my wife. The regular in ear sets, which I bought her several different kinds, were hurting her ears. This set is perfect. It's outside of the ears, so no more ear pain. The sound is great, connects easily, and no one but you can hear the sound. It does not block outside noise, but that was a none issue for her.

Love these earbuds. They hold a charge for a long time, as does the case. I don't like earbuds that go in my ear, and these sit against my ear. They stay on well and are comfortable to wear.

The Shokz are a great buy! They are comfortable, lightweight and I love that they don’t sit in my ear. The sound quality is amazing, and the battery life is excellent. I got them on Christmas and have only had to charge them once.

Best running headphones I have tried. Buds always come loose after I start sweating. Not these! And the audio quality is much closer to buds than I had hoped. I can wear these all day with zero discomfort. Total winner.

I’ve owned multiple open-ear and bone-conduction headphones over the years, including several from Shokz, and the OpenFit 2 is the first open-ear model where the sound quality actually feels competitive with mainstream premium earbuds.
First — comparison within the Shokz lineup: these sound noticeably better than my bone-conduction models. Music has more fullness, better cohesion, clearer highs, and less of that thin or mechanical character bone conduction tends to have. However, there’s an important tradeoff: the microphone is weaker in windy environments. My bone-conduction set with the boom mic still wins for call reliability outdoors. If phone calls in wind are your top priority, go with the bone-conduction version — specifically the one with the boom mic.
If your priority is sound quality plus a built-in mic that performs on par with premium mainstream earbuds from Apple, then this is the one to get.
I’ve tried most open-ear designs on the market and many of them fall into the same traps: hollow sound, shouty mids, rolled-off highs, or overly processed DSP character. Models from Soundcore were heavily recommended to me and ended up being a big disappointment. That’s what pushed me to spend more for the OpenFit 2 — and I’m glad I did.
Compared to the previous OpenFit generation, the OpenFit 2 is clearly improved:
• Better clarity
• Fuller presentation
• More natural cohesion
• Stronger overall mic performance (except in wind vs boom mic models)
I also tested the clip-style open earbuds from other brands and found them distant and rolled off. These don’t have that problem.
For context: the only open or semi-open listening setup I own that beats these is my very expensive wired in-ears from Moon Audio running through a $200+ Bluetooth DAC — which isn’t a fair everyday comparison.
One more practical note: I don’t even count traditional wireless earbuds with ~4-hour battery life as true daily drivers — that limitation alone takes them out of the running for how I work and move through the day.
Bottom line: If you want the best sounding open-ear headphones currently available, this is it. If wind-resistant calling is your top priority, choose Shokz bone conduction with the boom mic instead.
