However, I have a large head so I wish they were adjustable to make for a better fit and feel

There is a phone setting that may resolve the low volume issue. -On the iPhone, go to Settings > Sound & Haptics > Headphone Safety, make sure that the Reduce Loud Audio Feature is switched off as this will affect the volume of the headphone. -On an Android, go to the Bluetooth Settings on the phone, find the headphone and make sure that the Absolute Volume feature is switched on for it. Not comfortable with behind the ear hearing aids

I wanted a pair of legal headphones that I could use while driving that leaves my ears open so I can hear sirens and emergency vehicles. BUT, I wear hearing aids and with the road noise from my car I can't listen to things on the radio or from my phone through the car speakers. So I thought I'd give these a try. The sound quality is OK. When turned up loud they do tickle the ear with vibrations. But with the controls fitting directly behind the ears ... wear my hearing aids are fitted ... they were extremely uncomfortable and didn't fit well for me to hear properly. I have exchanged these for the higher priced Aeropex and will do a review of these after a few trial runs.

If i wanted to tune everything out i would have to put foam earplugs in my ears

My new phone did not have a jack for my old headphones. My ears are small so ear buds do not work well for me. These are perfect. I can use my maps on these headphones as well as listen to music from my CD's while in the car.
