    Perfect gift for your dad

I bought these headphones for my dad as a birthday gift since he is someone who works a lot with his phone and needs to be constantly on the move They're VERY light and comfortable. The moment you put them on, you forget they're there. They don't move around (no matter how much you sweat) and the band that goes around the back of your head doesn't get caught when you turn your head, even if you're wearing a bike helmet. And even if they do happen to move a little, you don't notice because it doesn't change the audio quality or volume, and you never feel like they're at risk of coming off. They're easy to put on and take off too. They're great for audiobooks and podcasts, which is what I use them for. You can still hear everything that's going on around you. Absolutely no problems fitting them with glasses or bike helmet. Again, for me, it's like they're not even there. The volume is pretty good. You can hear the audio over MOST external noises. (More on this below.) Solid battery life. Good, big, actual clickable buttons. No unreliable gestures.

First I like to say I have used these headphones almost every day since I bought them. Many days for 10+ hours as I travel, walk, and ride my bike a lot. They are also the only way I talk on my phone. The sound quality for music is good enough to be enjoyable while not missing boarding calls and vehicles or people approaching from any direction, but classical music sounds best. Call sound is better than my phone on it's own on both ends of the conversation. But do not expect studio sound. That is not what they are for. The battery life is fantastic. I often get 12 hours straight play time in one sitting. I've used them on many 20+ hour trips. The charge time is fantastic and I often recharge in the middle of a trip in less time than I have to nap between destinations. A portable power bank can keep you going for days without seeing a power outlet. Though I am careful with them, traveling can be frantic and they take some abuse. I have had no technical or physical damage issues in the first 1.5 years of owning them. They connect with Bluetooth sources quickly and with no issues that I have experienced. And the range has let me out the door and down the street without my phone several times. These have become my every day headphones from music, to calls, to playing video games, over the several different types of in ear and over ear headphones that I wear. If you use headphones daily, are active in life, or even just home/business life where you need to hear your surroundings (like babysitting your granddaughter), these are the best I've used. The last notes I'd make on them is the lack of extra wind noise when riding my bike, and the fact that they don't increase the sound of tinitus from being incerted or covering your ears, if you should have that problem like I do.

Brought this as a Christmas present. My friend wanted something that didn’t cover her ears when we went to the gym. So far she loves it for the gym

Love the flexibility and comfort. Sound is good when in a quiet to semi quiet area. When in a loud environment the sound admitting from the ear speakers is hard to music, or the person on the phone. This is my second one purchase, first one I lost.

The Shokz OpenRun Pro delivers impressive bass and clarity through bone conduction, ensuring situational awareness during workouts. Its lightweight, sweat-resistant design and secure fit make it ideal for runners and cyclists. While not as bass-rich as in-ear models, it offers a comfortable, open-ear experience for active users.

    Shoking Good Sound

I absolutely love the Shokz Open Run Premium Bone Conduction Open-Ear Headphones. The sound is clear and crisp. I have yet to receive a complaint about the sound of my voice on the other end of a phone call. That said, I have learned when not in use I cannot just leave them on my head over my ears and resting on my temporal bone. I have become acutely aware that I am missing sounds from my environment when I do. To be clear this design is leaps and bounds improved over my Beats by Dr. Dre Powerbeats Earbud Noise-Cancelling Bluetooth Earphones with the tether between the two ear buds where that design directly blocks the ear canal. Until you were the Shokz you will most likely have a hard time understanding the dampened sense of sound - it is very subtle. When I ask other Shokz customers about this sensation they look at me sideways. Some have admitted later they understood what I was talking about. The solution for me is simple. I simply drop them to my neck if I am moving about or place them on my desk when working. The only other issue is with connecting them to my apple phone my mac book and my hp laptop. I was spoiled from the relationship between Apple and Beats. They simply just connected without having to constantly reconnect like the Shokz. Hope you found this helpful.

My significant other originally purchased aftershoks-trex titanium because he has hearing aids and thought they would work well with them. They didn’t, however he gave them to me to try and I loved them. I used them for 2 years, until I dropped and broke them. I bought these and they are almost identical to the ones I broke. The only thing I miss is the original voice of the person who did the ones I broke. Sound is excellent. Not too loud, and like the bone conducting headsets vs noise canceling. I have a dog who is deaf and has seizures, and need to be able to hear her if she is in distress.

I like the conduction headphones much better than the in-ear type. This brand is easy to use, works well, and most of the time I don't even know I have it on. Does not fall off. Also, it recharges quickly and lasts the full day.

I tried these on in the store and immediately fell in love. The sound was exceptionally good. I liked that they weren't over the head ear phones. I wanted something I could use for walking/working out but also use for work as I work from home and in constant calls. I wanted comfort above all else. At first it takes some getting used to. But what I found was that after 2 hrs of wearing it cause just as much discomfort as my over head war phones. I really liked them but I could not get past the discomfort so I returned them.

Solid piece of hardware. The headset themselves overall or decent. Allows for a person to multi-task. You can listen to others and music at the same time without having to turn the music down or pause it. Only issue is the odd sensation you get from them sitting on the sode of your face for long periods of time.

Pros... 1. They sound nice without being overwhelming. 2. They are nicely durable. I was concerned that with my big acorn head that the headphones would not consistently stay on my head, but they do. 3. The bass response is adequate in terms of the headphones do I good job of just replaying at the quality of the song that is being played. 4. I love the fact that the headphones are not actually in my ears!!!! Cons... 1. I do not like the idea of the proprietary charger. I have created a new category called 'It can go either way' lol.... Either way depending on how you feel.... 1. The volume is a good level, but the whole you can hear other stuff? Well.... That has not been my experience. I still like them and even get compliments on them. But when I walk at the park, folk you can still walk up on me from behind and I do not hear them. I do have a hearing problem so I did not think it was a fair con on the headphones. 2. Price.... For what they do? They are amazing! Could they be cheaper? Well.... I think everything should be free so I am not the best person to judge that item. With the above as your background.... I do believe the headphones are fairly priced and the quality and price are a good match and I would buy again at this price point. I am happy that I opted for these instead of the other ones with less features.

Let me start by saying if price is your worry then these are worth the investment. I made the initial mistake of getting the regular size one and they did stick out the back of my head a bit and bumped my collar shirts so I returned them sad not knowing there is a MINI version of them. What wraps around the ear is the same but the wrap around is shorter and what a difference!!. I wear them all the time and no issues. I can still take them off and put them around my neck without them falling off which was my concern getting the MINI version. These are water proof so it helps if they go through a washing machine you should be fine but I would avoid it if possible. Battery life is great and a few minutes give you a lot of talk time. You can find chargers cheap online and I have one in every car, at work, home, and one in my backpack for emergencies so I am always good. As far music goes these are pretty awesome but higher volumes will make the Pro's vibrate and can be uncomfortable. (they were for me) but if you need music that loud then these are NOT for you and should invest in another earpiece that will suit your needs. You are able to pair to 2 devices at the same time and it's perfect for my work phone as an addition. If there is no rush I'd wait until a cyber deal or special comes out and save a few bucks but not me, my friends have them and thats how I got to try them. I suggest going to Best Buy and trying them on as most have them on display but be sure to ask if they have both sizes to see what is best for you.

Overall, the product works well and delivers a good performance in most cases. However, the sound quality is not always consistent - with songs or videos that have strong bass, it can become unpleasant. The battery life could also be improved a bit, as it feels a little short for extended use. Aside from those points, everything else is fine and the product meets expectations.
