Q: What bone conduction headphones for someone hard of hearing
A: I am partially deaf in my right ear. When i listen to music I can feel the vibration in my ear which made me cry because it was similar to almost hearing normal again
Q: Can these be easily used with sunglasses?
A: I use them with prescription glasses without an issue, so I imagine they should be fine with sunglasses too.
Q: Do these have a microphone? And can I use them to call someone?
A: Yes they have a microphone that picks up very good, better than my phone even. There is also a button on the left temple of the device that allows you to start and stop YouTube videos and answer and hang up calls.
A: My husband jumped in the pool forgetting his were on. They stopped working the next day
A: Hi there- The OpenRun Pro can only be used while being connected through Bluetooth. While these are not hearing aids, we do have customers who use them to assist with hearing, usually by pairing the headphones to their phone and accessing a hearing aid app like Petralex, Ear Spy, Ear Trumpet, or Hear You Now. These apps use the mic on the phone to pick up surrounding sound and transmit it through the headphones. Please reach out to our Customer Happiness Team if you have any other questions. Thanks!
Q: Can you listen in one ear at a time or does it have to be both
A: Yes, You can slide when you're off down to your neck and still hear on the other ear.
A: Yes, my mother uses hers and we listen as normal.
A: I talk to my customers all the time using these and have had no problems

Real Estate Professional here. I walk into vacant home un-announced multiple times a day. Need to keep my wits about me! These headphones make that happen. You can press the button on the side and answer calls, activate Google Assistant (or Siri if Apple is your thing) to make phone calls, send text messages, etc. I even found an app that reads my notifications aloud so I never have to take my phone out of my pocket unless I want to see something on the screen. I was worried about sound quality but, after trying them, they greatly exceeded my expectations for the scenario I needed them for! . No complaints here! Even the call quality is more than acceptable. Battery life lasts me all day and into the next. Liked these so much I went out and bought the Opencomm 2 UC version for my zoom/google meet calls in the office. Awesome concept! You'll probably want a pair of Noise cancelling (ANC) headphones for those times you want to block out the world but, for the times you need to be aware of what's going on around you, these are the ticket!

I use these to mountain bike and they're the best solution to having music on the trail that I've found. I also like using them when working in the yard, as I like to still be aware of my surroundings. THINGS I LIVE BEST: 1) Comfort - the thinness around the ear makes wearing these, plus sunglasses, more comfortable than any other earphones I've used 2) Battery life is excellent - I've had plenty of battery left after 5 to 6 hour rides. Recharging is quick, too. 3) The controls are very easy to use. Better than my previous Bose and Airpods. 4) They stay where they're supposed to. WHAT COULD BE BETTER: 1) The sound quality diminishes once you get into the upper end of the volume. Not a huge deal because the whole point of these is to hear music and what's going on around you, so I don't use high volume unless I'm on a MTB only downhill only trail. My Bose that used similar technology had better sound but the part that wraps around your ear was bulky and caused pain and battery life wasn't good. 2) The carrying case is bulky enough that it would be great if you could charge these in the case itself. Seems it would be easy to build that into a case of this size. Yes, it would increase cost but I'd pay it. OVERALL: I've tried several brands and styles and these are my favorite. When you're on a bike for several hours, comfort, battery life and ease of operation get high priority. These check all the boxes. I'm a fan.

Having worn these day after day for about a month I’ve noticed a few things that I’d like to expand upon. First of all comfort, They take some getting used to in the beginning as you’ll get a tickle on your cheek bones with bass or other loud noises. If worn too much I notice an uncomfortable ache in my ear that’s probably from the pressure and vibration that I’m not accustomed to. Then there’s sound quality. In noisy areas they are almost useless, I’ve found having an ear plug in or just sticking my finger in my ear helps the bone conduction relay the sound to my ear drum, again for noisy areas. When in a generally noise free area the headphones work great. When talking on the phone I’ve noticed the microphones limit the background noise making your voice #1. If you’re in the bathroom the person on the other end might hear an echo. I can wear them all day without needing a charge. I listen to podcasts, books, news and social media. I’ve even used them at work where “headphones aren’t allowed” and gotten a pass from the boss because they leave my ears open to my environment. Overall they have a great look and they wear really well. If you’re looking for an open ear concept this is the brand for sure.
