    I'm very much enjoying this port of a game I'd usually only get to play on a PC. The Switch works extremely well for the interface on the game, even if in tablet mode the 720p screen makes things a little difficult to see. Maybe it's because I am new to it, but I prefer Civ5; however, this is not bad by any stretch!

    I always thought the Civilization games were a great way to pass time and do some strategic thinking. I have a nostalgia for these kinds of games from back in the day with Populus on the PC. This is a fun game and ported over to the Switch, it's a great game to have in your collection when you want to change up your play selection.

    Very good solid port, a good game to play handheld while also half watching something on TV. That's partially because of how long turns take but that's always been the deal with Civilization. There's no guarantees 2K ever comes through with DLC and if they do it will almost certainly be paid.
