It's Okay....

I loved Civilization for Xbox and this one is definitely a lot more complicated than the previous Xbox version. This is definitely not a game for a young child or beginner.

This game has so many levels that for a newbie like me it can be overwhelming. But as long as you have time to do some research and practice, you should he fine.

Great Relaxing Game

My 12 year old daughter surprisingly really likes it too. I haven't played a game in this series since I was much younger and it was on a PC. It's still fun game and being able to play it on the Switch when I travel for work is great.

Great Continuation of the Series

It adds more depth to the game. It stays very true to prior editions of the game. But my advice for new players is make sure to run through the tutorials to get up to speed but once you do that you will definitely be hooked.

Great Port!

The touchscreen functionality and console control translations make this a perfect fit! Graphics are par down, but it's exactly what I would expect from a portable device. If you're into strategy games, highly recommend Civilization VI!

Bought as a gift, and they love it

He played a lot of Civ 5, but doesn't have a PC anymore to play this now. He was excited to see this come out on the Switch which he has and uses along with his kids. I can't compare it to the PC version as he hasn't played it, but it works well enough that he is very happy with this.

Unfortunate that you can't do multiplayer online, really would have made the game much better. That is the only thing keeping this from a 5 star rating.
