Customers admire Sid Meier's Civilization VI for its addictive and engaging gameplay, offering numerous possibilities and extensive playtime. The game's portability is also a significant plus, with many praising its convenience on the Switch. However, some users find the controls challenging and require time to master, while others mention the game's complexity and steep learning curve. The smaller screen size on the Switch is also noted as a potential drawback by some players.

Its an ok game. Got it when it was on sale.
I haven't really dived into the game as much yet, but it can be rough for first users who's just experiencing these types of games. Overtime you'll get the hang of it.

I have the game on PC so playing it on the switch was interesting. When docked you can see some dipped frame rates but overall it’s worth buying. It feels strange to play it in handheld mode “in a good way” since I’m so use to playing civ games on PC.

I played for about 3 minutes and couldn't see or understand the small detail on my switch lite. Really better suited for a larger screen. I lost interest.

Loved these types of games when I was younger but this is definitely better played on to tv. Its pretty hard for me to get used this just on the tiny screen.

Already have over 30 hours of playtime which gives me more than one hour per dollar spent which in my book makes a game worth it. It’s fun, great for road trips and every easy to get suckered into that “just one more turn” mentality.

A slightly watered down version conpared to PC version. Small screen is little bit of a burden. Wouls rate higher but performance is a little slow as well.

I really loved Civ 5 so when I saw that Civ 6 came to the switch I was very excited to play it. Though the game is still fun the UI is not the greatest and the controls are hard to get used to.

This game is addictive. It’s fun trying to win a game against other civilizations and sort of a history lesson. The game does slow down toward the later rounds, but fun nonetheless.

The game at it's price of 19.99 when I purchased it was a great deal. The game is new to me and I had quite the time learning the ins and outs of civilization. With some YouTube tutorials along the way I was able to confidently pick the game up and play at my leisure.

I got this for like 7 bucks at the time and for that price it was a steal. You have to love or at least be interest and civilization building type games. You won’t find any high-octane action here. But on the go, it’s brilliant.

I am typically skeptical of playing RTS games on console, but Civ VI is an excellent experience on Switch. Between intuitive controls and smooth frame rate, it's a very enjoyable experience, both docked as well as handheld.

I was afraid to buy this game but I bought it for STEM purpose for my kid. I was afraid sleepless nights playing but setting a strict schedule keeps everyone from over-playing and NOT sleeping. Hahaha. Great educational tool for kids.

Love the game, but it runs slooooow on the Switch. The devs should've seen that coming. The Switch is not a powerful enough system to quickly render Civ games. Long turn times.

Civ Rev on Xbox 360 was the only game I played for 3 years straight. I still haven't played this one, but I hope I like it just as much. I bought it cause it was $10. but I rarely to never use my Switch.

Introducing a new and popular game but yet still age appropriate for an 11 year old, such a great gift for someone who only plus one game on their Nintendo switch.
