Been playing CIV games since the first DOS version came out. Not as user friendly on a game console but overall worth it and especially priced at $10 brand new sealed…WOW

Bought nintendo switch for daughter with age appropriate games. Saw this game and heard it played more like the pc game than previous civ console game, and it does. controls are easy to pick up. the graphics in tablet mode are excellent.

I've always played Civ on my PC so I will start by saying that there was a bit of a learning curve. It's great to play on the go or to have the option to play it on the big screen.

This typically drops in price so keep an eye out for it to go down and snag it up. Lots of replayability in it which I personally always look for. If you like strategic games than you will no doubt love this.

A fun, intense, lengthy game (to go along with all the other fun, intense, lengthy Switch games, haha). Lots of replay ability, and DLC packs were recently announced that extend the game even further. Recommended!

My only problems are in docked mode the game will chug a bit when your empire gets big and this version is lacking the Rise and Fall expansion. Other than that it's worth getting.

With that being said, if you enjoy these types of games my rating would be higher. Lots of choices, easy controls, and smooth graphics.

Can't beat the price. This game usually isn't the type of game I like to play but I was able to put some time in and found it somewhat enjoyable.

Great game! My only complaint is that the only online multiplayer is local play so unless you have to Nintendo switchs on the same WiFi you cannot play online or with friends

Great game that runs well on the switch. The only way to make it better is if they came out with a version that included all the DLC on game cart.

If you new to the series, like I am, it was tricky and not a very user friendly game....at first. Give it some time and stick with it though cause its pretty addictive

To hear this franchise was coming to Switch was shocking, is an understatement. It is normally a pc game but this game works so well with the controls on Switch. I like it a lot

I'm about 5 hours in now. I haven't played the PC version, so I don't know how that differs. I am having a lot of fun so far. First run through so I'm still learning how things work. Well worth the $30 I paid for it.

My father's played only risk so I got him this and a switch lite. He says it's been interesting. I've heard good things about it too. Nice time sink.

It’s a great game and good format. You can colonize over time and different continents, as well as space as you progress through the game.

They did about as good a job as was possible bringing this from PC to switch. This game is so addictive I would play even if it was more dumbed down. Very fun strategy game and you may learn some history while playing as well.

Good action. I found it fun and challenging. Characters are a little strange for me, but I do not like such “fascination “ Kept us engaged

My husband biught this he is happy with it. He enjoys all kinds of games. He really loves RPG games. I like watching him play his games. He has played games all his life.

Game is a bit complicated to play. Once you remember all the things you need to do to grow your civilization it becomes more interesting.

Rated E , but our kiddos were not interested. More appropriate for Dad's. Budget game.
