Unless you’ve played a more recent one, it’s a bit difficult to keep up with what’s going on. For the price of $10, it wasn’t too bad of a loss.

The gameplay is more complicated and the lack of functional simplicity for new players lacks a lot.

Awful, wanted to like it but just can't....

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've never played the PC version of Civ before and my only experience with it was Civ: Revolution for Xbox 360 which I really enjoyed and made me to pick up this version and both are very different creatures. Civ: Revolution was clearly made for a console system and Civ: VI feels like a console port of a PC game that was made to be played with a keyboard & mouse, not a gaming controller. If you were a Revolution fan I don't think you'd enjoy this version. I regret buying this (even with it being on sale), wish I could return it :-(
