Hate the game because of unable to play or down load it to my computer.i read the instructions. Waste of money.

Requirements to run this program are extremely high. Don't even consider this program if you don't have the graphics power.

If you see "file not found" on the download page. call the best buy customer service line and choose the refund option. Then it will ask if you need more help and then they will connect you to a customer service person who will help you by sending you a good working link in your email. This seem like a much better Civ V. It may not seem like there's a lot of improvement, but they make a difference. The districts make planning your city much more important, as it takes up tiles and positioning can affect multiple cities. Gone is the global happiness, replaced by amenities and makes expansion easier as long as you can find new resources. The new civic tree is a nice addition and can provide a strategical boost when needed. I do wish they had more leaders to choose from, but I guess they're saving that for expansions. There are some UI bugs here and there but more of an annoyance than anything too troubling. Still I'm having a good time with it.

We have yet to play the game so this review is mainly to help out others who have downloaded this game. When the game is ready in your digital library, it prompts you to read instructions which do not work. Calling best buy is absolutely useless, customer service is HORRIBLE. I did a lot of digging and in order to download this game, you need to download STEAM and then you can redeem the code there. If you can I'd purchase from a different online program because the organization of best buys downloads was horrible.

The best Civ. game to date. With the amount of content it feels like it's already received numerous expansions. Highly recommended.

This is not a review just a quick tip. I read many reviews around having problem with activation. After checkout when you get the 'ready for download' notification --Login to your BestBuy account --Navigate to Digital Library --Copy the listed Keycode (beside the title photo of the game) --Open Steam Client --Click on Games menu --Select Activate a Product on Steam --Paste the copied KeyCode and click Activate. Following these steps should start the download.

I absolutely loved Civ 5, I thought the religion addition made it very addictive. I especially loved spreading my religion throughout the world. I tried many times to play Civ 3 but the AI was so tough, you could never do anything militarily, so I gave up on Civ 3. My all time favorite in the Series was Civ 2, I must have played that game thousands of times. So in order of preference, Civ 2, Civ 5, Civ 1 (four and three sucked). I am hoping that I can bump Civ 6 up to the top!

I love Civ. Everything about it. One of the games that got me into PC gaming to begin with.

Great game for new users as well as veterans of this series.
