    This pedestal means no leaning over. The height is perfect and the drawer means that there is plenty of storage for laundry supplies or in our case it is just great for art and craft supplies for the grandkid. I wouldn't buy the machine without it.

    We got the stool to help with storage space, reduce vibrations, and have out front loaded washer / dryer closer to our mid height (not have to squat or reach down to open the door all the time). The stool does all of the above. No issue.

    Got this free as part of a bundle deal but I am so happy I got it. I have this with my dryer and it's so much easier not Having to bend over and I love being able to store dryer sheets and my tide pods etc in here
