This product is working great for our needs. After having a break in at our vacant property, we are using it to deter break ins and it has been working great. Since we do not have wifi there, it is activated by motion and alerts my phone and authorities are called. One of the sensors fell off of the back door after being removed and replaced while painting and we were notified and called by Simplisafe immediately.

Convenient and easy to install. Highly recommend if living in apartment. Sleep, great. Leave out of town without worries.

easy to install. however its not a very loud alarm I couldnt even hear it going off while I was in my home.

I loved everything about this system ... until I tried to set it up. Learned that the locks require monitoring. Monitoring is inexpensive, rated well, does not require a contract, and I wanted it anyways, so that worked out. However, I found a couple major drawbacks during setup. Major drawback 1: the app cannot be used to set up the system. The keypad is required. They should allow both. Major drawback 2: the wifi SSID can only be 13 characters long, and the pw can only be 32 characters long. The most secure passwords are long ones that cannot be guessed. Thus, I could not use the system because I was not about to weaken the network password and change is on all of my devices just to accommodate this system. Kind of ironic that it is a *security* system. Anyways, decided to go the Nest route. Nest devices are super easy to set up.

Great deal for what it is. Needed only a few parts for it half price.

I bought the Simplisafe system after reading numerous reviews as well as for the cost and month service fee. I have had the system installed for about 2 months and have had no issues. The install is very quick, easy and intuitive. I cannot speak as to response as I haven't had that experience yet. The only reason I gave this a 4 instead of 5 stars is the lack of integration with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. With this integration, this system could compete with the big guys out there offering whole home integration.

This was extremely easy to set up. I wish the camera allowed you to move it remotely with the app but overall a nice system.

I have had the previous version of this alarm for 5 years and have had not issues and never replaced a sensor battery. I got this as a gift.
