Simplisafe is overall a great system and directly competes with all the other big named security systems. The flexibility to go on their website to buy more door sensors, key fobs, etc and install yourself is what makes this system unique that youre not handcuffed to their technicians.

Installed base, pin pad, 5 door/window sensors and 1 motion sensor. One sensor was failing to communicate off and on, but seems better now. Need to install more sensors plus smoke detectors. Really like the app. The app makes it really easy to check the status in real time.

This security system is SimpliSafe's new and improved product. It's hard to improve on excellence, but they appear to have done it. First, the installation is very easy. Follow the instructions and your system will be up an running in very little time and with little effort. Locate the spot you want a sensor, peel the tape, and stick it on. If seated properly, there should be minimal concern of it coming off. Although, there is a method to remove it, if you want to relocate it. Once the sensors are installed, they are recognized by the master unit. Should you need help with installation or anything else, their customer service is excellent! Calls are promptly answered, especially in the support area, and the people you speak with are courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. Monitoring is 24/7, and if your power goes down, the system will continue to operate up to 24 hours. There is a choice between two levels of monitoring. Whichever you choose, the price will leave money in your pocket, when compared with the competition. This particular grouping out of the box is for a small area, as there are only two sensors. However, additional sensors, camera, etc. are available a la carte. One thing to be aware of if you already have the prior security system and are interested in upgrading, the current sensors are not compatible with the new system, so you will need to replace them. SimpliSafe is perhaps the greatest value in home security systems that you will find and with no contract required. I definitely would recommend to a friend. Actually, I have friends and neighbors already using SimpliSafe, and all are pleased.

I have been using this for more than a month now and I would recommend this to anyone looking for an easy to setup security system. It took me around 40 minutes from unboxing to having all of the sensors in place and setup. I love the fact that Simplisafe has a done of sensors and accessories. I also got the keyfob which I would highly recommend.

The system was easy to set up and the door sensors easy to install. However the keypad only worked for a few minutes then went dark. I had to take the battery out and put back in to get it to wake up again. I wrote to the company and they said they would send a replacement. They did, of the old version not the model I purchased. I contacted them again to get a replacement for the keypad and have not gotten any response back. The entire system won’t work without the keypad so it’s pretty much useless. Going to return the system.

Upgraded my older unit mainly because could not see the keypad in the dark, This one is much better the buttons are larger space further apart and everything is illuminated with just a touch of the unit anywhere and the whole thing lights up nice job SimpliSafe as far as the rest of the devices they are smaller that's all I can tell at the moment.
