SimpliSafe System is relatively reliable. Customer Support is essentially next to worthless, when it comes to even replacing an entry sensor. They make it a long drawn out process, that takes a very long length of time, with extended waste of time and actually postage, to send the defective item back (example entry sensor). Even state they have to test it with you. There is NOT anything to test with an entry sensor, especially when it has been functioning for over 9 months. It is a simple transmitter with a magnet that opens and closes the contacts, and transmits to the main unit. Then it is necessary to send the entry sensor back, so they spend postage which is more waste of time. It appears they send defective entry sensors to new customers, otherwise, why would they insist on returning a defective intermittent entry sensor. The inside cameras are absolutely worthless. They disconnect, after only being connected to wifi for not over 2 hours, and most of the time the wifi connection is lost before 2 hours. Actually, most of the time, it is impossible to even connect the wifi cameras, even when there is only 6 to 8 feet away from the router. The router I have is one of the best with actually 6 antennae and internal processors. It does not make any difference if it is 6 feet or 25 feet, failure to maintain a wifi connection is impossible. Anyone considering the system, should know support is dismal at best. For me, going forward, if I have a sensor to fail, I will purchase the sensor from Best Buy and replace it myself. Much faster and easier and without the hassles of trying to get SimpliSafe to abide by their guarantee promises.

Was replacing old equipment but very satisfied with simplisafe and the customer service we receive. Cost is a big plus. Highly recommend.

I would’ve giving it 5 stars but not having outside camera and floodlights hurts this big time. Would recommend if you’re okay minus those extras

Installer was was helpful and knowledgeable. Suggested several things that I didn’t think of that were very helpful.

Overall perfect, very easy install , only negative would be that you have to pay for it monthly if you want to control alarm through your phone

Great system! Love the fact that it connects to a cellular signal so if someone cuts your wifi your security system is still up and running. Now I'm saving to buy more accessories ;-)

Same features you will get in wyze, but i must say SimpliSafe has better monitoring and surveillance.

All of the batteries were low. Simplisafe should send extra batteries with all of their sets.

A well thought through system for the non technical do it yourself installer but fall a little short of a professional system. If they even had a super cheap app integration without monitoring (say $5.95 / month), it would be much more attractive for true DIY without the full expense of monitoring. Without that, I think there are other systems out there like Ring which are much more attractive due to their smart home integration capabilities.
