I have been using this for about 6 months. I would have given it more stars, except that the other day the base unit got knocked into and fell over sideways on my kitchen counter, and it's dead. Didn't fall to the floor or get hit hard, it just went plonk over sideways. Pretty fragile stuff! There's no pricing available on their website for a replacement, and I'm on the phone trying to get tech support in the middle of a weekday. Hold time 20 minutes.

We have been customers for over a year, but the poor costumer service and failing devices have drove us away. NOT worth it and they will not refund you for faulty equipment or offer any real IT support. Immediately deleted all our information upon cancelling so we can no longer access anything and are back at square one trying to, but failing, to connect devices. Despite the promise that this wouldn’t happen if you paused or cancelled the subscription, it’s like we never had an account. They also won’t let us return any of the hundreds of dollars worth of devices.

They can be easily hacked even in 2020! Which is why I got rid of mine. search on youtube for "[935] SimpliSafe Alarm Bypassed With a $2 Device From Amazon" They also tried to sew Cove Smart (I recommend Cove over Simplisafe), which is odd to me. They must feel threatened by Cove as Cove is probably a better system. I am not associated with Cove either as I am going to try out Cove and Abode to see which I like better. Search for "law 360 Simplisafe v Cove Smart" Also, they are overpriced compared to Cove and Abode. This all made me feel bad about going with them. The truth comes out Simplisafe.

Worst product and service. 1. System gave a false smoke alarm in the middle of the night. actually there was no smoke at all. Police and firefighters were at the home by knocking door. Cancelled it next day. worst experince. 2. When I requested for cancellation, it was not another nighmere experince. they were deducting the monthly amount for 2 months, finally I had to stop it from credit card side.

The wireless door and motion sensors we're far too weak. I had constant failures and false alarms with them located just 20-30 feet from base. Ended up in the trash :(

My previous review still stands, but I meant to say I was going to try the Ring system. (not Nest)

This system took three plus weeks to receive and any issues we have had takes them days to respond to. I do not recommend this system to help me when we are in need.

Simplisafe product is very poorly made and will cost you a lot money in false alarm fines. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this product!
