Simplisafe is my go to for security! Ive had the old system for 10+ years with monitoring and it works great. Inteust this will be great for a new property il installing it on. So glad to have the wireless cameras!

The camera in the front of my house does not hold a charge for more than 3 days. Simpli Safe replaced it once but still having the same issue. They are now sending a charging cable. Terrible system. So many issues and the return window to Best Buy has closed

The SimpliSafe Outdoor Camera Home Security System was an excellent choice for our home. The purchase price was fair. Using the SimpliSafe App walked me thru the setup.

Your representative really worked with me to make sure that i had the correct materials and the right system. Unfortunatly you didn't have everything in stock but was able t owork around it.

Excellent customer service top notch! system wise needs improvement in alarm trigger notification times. As far as the outdoor cameras go sometimes works sometimes not so well, been going back and fourth with customer technical support still trying to get connection issues resolved. Maybe a future update push will fix these issues

I needed outdoor cameras and work with my existing Simplisafe security system. I can view all of my cameras with my cell phone app.

The SimpliSafe - Outdoor Camera Home Security System is a well thought-out package designed to fill the needs of most homeowners, whether technically inclined or not. Installation is easy; simply follow the instructions and you will connect the cameras & door switches in no time. The cameras are designed to use minimal battery power, and they achieve that objective. The included Li-ion camera batteries last 3-6 months after each charge, and the charge only takes 5-6 hours. However, the cameras are the slowest to respond of any wireless security system I have tested. In order to achieve such long battery life, when you select Live View, the SimpliSafe system has to activate the camera, then initiate Live View. This requires 15-20 seconds. I have strong WiFi around my camera installations; if your WiFi is weak at the cameras, expect additional delay. The SimpliSafe system is a time tested, rugged system. If you choose to have it professionally monitored, it MUST be monitored exclusively by SimpliSafe. Be aware that monitoring which allows you to check security videos in the app costs $25 / month; pay less ($15 / Month) to get very basic monitoring without continuous monitoring ability; you will most likely select the $25 / month plan to monitor your home properly. This fact is not made clear in their advertising. CONCLUSION: This package is the most economical way to purchase multiple Simple-Safe cameras, the Hub & door sensors. The equipment is quality built; the cameras are water proof. Installation is the easiest of any system I have tested, However, the slow response to detect & send a motion alert render the cameras virtually useless if you are trying to catch someone stealing a package from your front porch. If that is your objective, I would look elsewhere for a different system & would expect shorter camera battery life that results from prioritizing faster response time over battery life. If you are looking for protection from a burglar breaking into your home, not a snatch & grab package thief, this is an ideal system & you will be well pleased with the peace of mind that comes from having a quality, time-tested security system.

Good product, struggling because of our slow internet.

The Camera Quality seems decent. However they constantly will not connect. The connection time is super slow. We’ve got the fastest internet Xfinity offers and they still lag to connect to live mode.
