BUY ARLO…Camera System Stinks!

Also, the cameras do not connect well to a live feed when not connected to the same wifi as the cameras. Wish I could return them for more Arlo cameras! Picks are all I see when connecting to the live feed from work…spinning wheel of connection!

From day one out of the box, I immediately noticed battery life was below subpar. I adjusted activity zones to make sure cars and other activity wasn't consuming too much battery power but even that doesn't do much to extend it's life. I currently have this set up in my backyard that has an 8ft privacy fence. The most activity it sees is my dogs when let them out a few times a day. I get maybe a day out of a single charge and I dont know how effective a camera could be if it needs charged every single day and takes several hours to charge. You could purchase extra batteries or plug it in, but at this price, I expected to at least get 2 days or more out of a single charge and should not have to buy extra batteries or plug in a supposed "wireless" camera. I'd return it if I could.

Posted .We sincerely apologize for the trouble you have experienced. Higher levels of activity would certainly have a significant impact on battery life. We do have the Power Adapter and Solar Panel accessories available to keep your camera charged and ready.
However, the 2-day battery life that you describe is highly unusual, and indicates an issue with your camera. We strongly recommend contacting our Support team at 800-548-9508 for troubleshooting, if you have not already.
