Had Nest cameras for years and they were much faster. When you get a notification of movement, there is no preview of the movement. You have to open the app and watch the event to see what happened. Needs improvement!

Mounting plastic did split when I hand screwed it in. Had to JB weld it to make it work, had to wait 24hrs to complete install.

First time my SimpliSafe email and password was not excepted. Second time email and password was accepted but could be completed because camera was not charged. Third time camera was charged but the camera is not working and a replacement will have to be provide.

They are not "On" all of the time, but they do sense motion and let you know there is motion and record the motion. I purchased the solar panel chargers for them and won't have to waste time changing batteries.

Talk about a let down. The cameras have a long delay before recording. I get errors all the time that camera was disconnected. When a package gets dropped off you don’t see them coming towards the house just walking away. The batteries need replaced every 10-12 days. You can adjust the settings but it doesn’t extend the battery life that much to make a difference. When you try to talk it just sounds like static. It was better quality having indoor camera pointing outside. They use to sell outdoor kits for the indoor cameras and that was 100% better. Purchased solar panel so hoping that works but it says doesn’t work in colder temps. I live in NE it gets extremely cold here. They are easy to install and set up

Posted .Very sorry to hear about these performance issues - both with the lag time, and the battery draining issue. We have come out with firmware updates to improve, but there are more on the way. We aim for your cameras to keep getting better!
