Greatest product, easy installation and easy-to-use

Great camera during the day, nighttime not so good.

SimpliSafe keeps making improvements to their system. This wireless outdoor camera is awesome, it was easy to set up and has been working well.

Easy to install and connect with my existing system. Very good video resolution.

This camera is good when it’s working for some reason it gets disconnected from the Wi-Fi most of the time. This camera picks up all motions even for areas I disabled the motion for.

This had a good picture but it would only connect for about 15 seconds and then stop. I was on the phone with SimpliSafe 5 or 6 times and my ISP once and it still never worked even though I had a good signal.

I installed the camera on Sunday, by Wednesday the battery is low. The camera is constantly dropping its connection and I can't get the live feed. I will be returning this, as I need a camera that actually works.

Low battery life, clear reception, but average at best

Very easy to install and fine-tune its position, this camera doubles up as a (small) security light and motion alert system. Well integrated into the SimpliSafe system alongside the other cameras and doorbell.

While setting up this camera, it kept failing on finishing the setup. The camera was having issues showing a live feed. I started the setup again, and it finished successfully. However, when trying to use the camera on the app and look at the video feed, the camera would be stuck on "waking up" and it would never show any video. A few times the camera finally connected after loading for 30 seconds, but the video feed would last 5-10 seconds before losing connectivity. The camera was literally 10 feet away from my base station and router during this test and setup so connectivity should not be an issue. If i can't even get the camera to connect or work for more than 5 seconds, what use is this in a real life scenario when time and reliability is vital when getting video evidence of any event. This is unfortunate, as I have been a SimpliSafe subscriber for around 4 years. I have been waiting a long time for an outdoor camera from SimpliSafe, but this camera is completely unusable. I am honestly surprised they released this camera in this state. The only pro about it, is that the build quality seems solid. But what does that matter if it doesn't work? I will be returning this camera due to reliability. I need something to capture the moment when the moment happens, instead of being let down the camera couldn't wake up or connect in time to capture the footage. On top of that, I can't even get it to show me live feed when I want it to. At this point, it's a $170 decoy camera. Get it together SimpliSafe.

Did not use this. It would not hook up to our system. Had to use the ring door bell.

The camera was very easy to install and set up. The battery life has been really good, granted the camera is installed in an area where there is not a lot of movement.

The battery life is poor, you need to charge the batteries often. Best Buy now wants me to purchase solar panels at a cost of $800+ dollars! NOT FAIR!
