Easy install, good clarity, but cameras are TOO SLOW. Sorry I purchsed them. Maybe its because they are battery only. Hard wire maybe faster not sure. Calling simplisafe to see if up grading to video recording will improve. Would try another company cameras especially for the price I paid for cameras and extra battery. NOT HAPPY.

Great outdoor camera. It was easy to add to the system and with a solar panel I never have to take it down to charge / replace the battery.

I’ve read the reviews but I really like my SimpliSafe system that I have had for approximately four years. I was really looking forward to these new cameras but I was sadly disappointed. The battery life is very poor being that I had to charge the batteries every three weeks for eight hours. Additionally the cameras kept disconnecting from my Wi-Fi and I have a very good modem and Wi-Fi router. The majority of the time that I tried to view my cameras, I would receive the message that I would need to try again. I really hope that Simplisafe fixes these problems and perhaps I will purchase them in a year or so with improvements.

I’ve had simplisafe for years. A whole home system loaded with all the various components. The components work great, but SimpliSafe has never been able to get the cameras right. The doorbell is fine, indoor camera is fine but I had really high hopes for this outdoor camera that was severely overdue. I was very disappointed when I saw it would only be 1080p max but figured it was worth a go since my Arlo 1080 looks pretty close to perfect. I set this up which was a bit clunky, and to my disappointment the quality is absolute trash. Picture is horrible and washed out (even worse at night), sound is horrible, laggy picture, poor response time to motion & can’t really make out a persons face. I have an arlo cam immediately next to the Simplisafe outdoor with the same picture quality but the difference is a 180. And you can’t say it’s a network issue. I would return this but unfortunately the box was recycled by mistake so now I stuck with the overpriced camera. Go with any other brand for surveillance, because this is useless. If this is your first camera you won’t know any better, but once you compare it to even some of the cheapest surveillance systems you will realize you have been had.

This outdoor camera is one of the best on the market in my opinion and a great addition to your SimpliSafe system.

Great camera but honestly the ring camera is better when it comes to talking to someone at the door and monitoring live feeds

Camera has excellent coverage an the light illuminates quite a large area . Fast retrieval of the recording .. Highly recomment

I needed to find a good simple way to setup a video security system for my home. I required it to keep track of people coming back to open area in our large, shared turn-around. This Simplisafe system allows me to move this totally wireless camera and sensors wherever we desire. And, I get notifications and video. So very easy. They have a great Customer and Technical support.

Great design but I bought it as a gift and they didn't want to have to remember to charge the battery. Otherwise, looked like a great product to me.

These are so good. Dependable, Works perfectly and very useful. Works with all the SimpliSafe equipment. Good to have.

Although the camera works good it some times takes awhile to re-connect to wifi if the signal gets dropped. The magnetic mounting system makes it pretty easy to install, it also makes it easy to steal the camera if it is mounted in arms lenght.
