Set and install was easy with no issues. The remote keychain is a great buy The App is great to review history of on/off alarms but the only thing I would hope the app adds in the next upgrade is a history of when door sensors and window sensors open when alarm is off.

The security system absolutely fits the needs for my home. It's very user friendly. Very easy to set up. You can add different things to the system when you need them. It works great!

Very easy to install and it works very well. Distance between the outermost parts of your house can be an issue in terms of being online to the base. We had to move the base around a bunch to try to find a spot that works for all of our access points.

Perfectly “SIMPLE” to use! It couldn’t get any easier. Love notifications on our phones and easy to set your safety at your fingertips. Much better quality of images & response times. We all are extremely happy with products.

Wanted some extra piece of mind while out of the house. Easy set up and easily expandable. The monitoring plan advertised was $14.99 but there was a more expensive plan for $24.99 you have to get to be able to use the full features. I wish that that was disclosed up front.

Excellent, simple and the sound is not alarming but make you feel secure. The ease of use is so different than other system we had. We are in a very rural area and this is the system.

Great security system. Easy to set up and the app is easy to use as well. I like that you can go month to month for payments. Camera came free with this as well in Best Buy. I moved and this was also easy to uninstall and set up in a new house.

This was the simplest system to install and setup. Super easy to control using either the touch panel or the even handier key fob. The system seems well made and of high quality. It’s very customizable and you can add on as necessary.

I regret I returned it. I bought it at a good price, but didn’t install it because I have Ring alarm installed. What I tested is an excellent device, I will be checking prices and I will get it again.

It was great price and system to purchase you can set up yourself and you can call SimpliSafe and they will help you through it if needed I did call them to make sure everything was put up and working okay and it was.

It is a good system and simple to set up and use. Some may find the monitoring fee to be rather high, but it is not required if you prefer to only use it as a local alarm. Choose what works best for your situation. The keypad and mobile app are simple to use on a daily basis.

We love this alarm system but was disappointed in the Siren that came with it. It can only be heard on one floor of the house. We had to purchase an additional siren that puts out 105dB sound. This siren can be heard all through the house. It is a great system now.

Super easy to install and configure. Highly recommended as a traditional alarm system substitution from an aging vendors. Thats what I did, and never looking back.

Easy installation. Sends alerts to phone when doors are open. Wish they were audible alert announcing which door was open. The only audible is when you are entering the house to turn the alarm off. Otherwise great system and good price.

This system is no nice. Easy to install, fast, and well put together. Even received a free door bell ($170 value) for purchasing a system that was everything I needed to alarm my new home. I had SimpliSafe at my former house and loved it! Highly recommend it!

Simply safe works great. I’ve never use any other brand but this one is very easy to set up and the customer service has been excellent. My old unit had a lot of issues but it looks like they’ve fixed a lot of the bugs.

it works great once installed but the sensors are not as sticky as they say they are, all fell off the windows. Took a lot of tech support to get the base to connect at first but they were super helpful!

We replaced an existing security system with the Simplisafe Shield Home Security System. We are very pleased with the new system. It's easy to use and works great for us.

This is a truly wireless DIY yourself system that is very easy to use/install/expand. But it does not really support self monitoring so be sure you don’t mind having to pay the reasonable monthly monitoring fee. Also there is no contract, just pay month to month. Positives: Totally wireless. Included in the nicely packaged box is; 1 Keypad – very easy to read and navigate 1 Base Station – very stylish and reminds me if a nuclear cooling tower 2 Motion Sensors 6 Door/Window Sensors 1 Key Fob. Large SimpliSafe monitor security sign for front yard with stakes Everything is nicely designed. Also if you go to SimpliSafe website you can easily order additional parts/accessories such as water or freeze detection. Initial setup was very easy – to start you just pull the plastic battery shield for each component, press it in place using its adhesive tape (you don’t have to screw it in unless you want to), press its test button and the keypad (which I carried with me while setting up) picks it up and asks you to name it (has a long list of pre-set naming options). Took about 25 minutes to get all setup. Took longer deciding where I was going to put the sensors than installing them. The keypad is navigated by pressing the screen edges (top/bottom/right/left) and I found its screen easy to read and its instructions easy to follow. It is very simple to add additional security codes as well as a panic code. Was easy to add to my wifi network The base station has a lighted ring that changes colors that corresponds to certain activity (white – all is good), red (alert occurred), etc…You can turn this off if you choose. Occurred to me this would be a great option if you are renting as it requires no drilling, etc….. Negatives; I have so far chosen not to activate the monitoring so I cant speak to how it works or how easy it is to contact SimpliSafe. As such some of the following may be due to not having it monitored. I choose to use my desktop to create my account and some of SimpliSafe website pages do NOT load if using Firefox. I had to switch to Chrome to complete. I refuse to use MS Edge – but that would be a different review There is a SimpliSafe android app but pretty much useless if not paying for monitoring. When home I was hoping to use the door sensors to warn us when a door had been opened as we have a 2 ½ year old grandson and an in-ground pool. The keypad does chime but it is so faint to be virtually useless and we do have it set to high. Key Fob is nice option but a tad large for my pocket. Also I could not get any alarm to sound when using away and entering without entering code. I tried several times and the only thing that happened was keypad had an alert and Base Station had a red ring.

Great system for home or apartment. Easy to set-up and operate, took about an hour, because I installed more than 6 entryway sensors. The monitoring system is well worth the money, especially if taking a trip. Set-up on phone also very easy to do
