works great simple to set up just don't trust the tape that comes with it not one of the sensors stayed. Had to go out and buy double sided tape for the sensors

Easy to use and install. No contract required but inexpensive if you need. Many options. My only complaint is that the video doorbell must be hardwired.

Fantastic DIY installed home security system. Very cool do it yourself home security system, with plenty of included sensors, and even a FOB. You can use the app to arm and disarm your alarm system. The app will allow you to make a custom pin remotely for a short period of time, maybe for a visitor you do not want to have the permanent PIN to. If you happen to have a camera (not included here), you can access it live, or access the recording from an alarm trigger. The keypad is completely wireless, battery lasts up to 2 years. Keys are all backlit. The keypad screen basically stays “off” until you touch it. The base station does both wi-fi and cellular connection for your monitoring service. Setup of this thing is cool, it has voice prompts for setting up the system, and also using the system too. The colors on the base of the light will change colors to show you when the system is armed. The base station looks pretty cool too, very subtle and fairly small. Door sensors are very small, much smaller than my previous very old traditional alarm system. I had no problems with the range of the sensors in my 1,600 sq foot 2 level home. Comes with sticky pads for sticking onto doors or sliding windows. The included motion sensors are also pretty small stick the same as the door sensors and have about the same range in my home. I have my base station in what I guess would be the center of my home on my main floor. No problems with a dog triggering motion detector when the alarm is armed either. Not sure how that worked out, but it did. The siren alarm is pretty loud, though simplisafe also sells an extra alarm siren you can add into this base kit. After setup you can setup your remote monitoring online. You are not locked into a contract. You are a month to month customer. You can even specify which kind of alarm triggers will send out an emergency response, vs an alert to just you via the app. Have a NEST thermostat? Great, because this will integrate into this alarm system so you can check that too. Now, SimpliSafe also sells other add-on devices you can buy separately ala carte, video camera, extra alarm sirens,smoke detectors, panic button, and more sensors if you need them, but for me, I will first be getting the water sensor, which are really inexpensive per sensor, and a freeze sensor. I had a pipe freeze and burst in the past, and this would have been great to have so that I could have shut the water line down faster before it did more damage! All in all this is a major upgrade from a previous over 15 year old alarm system which only worked via my hard wired phone line. The monitoring service is cheaper too!

I love the system, easy install. I would advice using the screws with the tape as we had one fall and trigger a false alarm

Its attractive and works well. The system voice is pleasant when I turn it off and on. Its very Affordable including the monitoring fee. Love it!
