I purchased this not realizing that you had to have a monthly subscription to use all functions including remote unlock with this device. The key fobs were an amazing touch. Sad I had to return.

Great product, just wish the keypad was available in white to match, since my door is also white. However, it cannot be seen when the screen door is closed. Tip: be sure that your door lock operates freely without pushing or pulling the door to operate your dead bolt. If so, you will be happy

Easy to install, directions and you tube video helped. Works like it should only thing I don’t like is when you turn the alarm off this lock unlocks automatically also. Not sure if there is a way to cancel this feature or not. All I do is lock it back either from the app or manually lock it back by hand.

This smart lock is an excellent value! A great addition to my Simplisafe security system. I have expanded my alarm from system a basic package to an alarm system that can compete with my major competitors and the Simplisafe Smart Lock completes my package and at a very reasonable price as compared to other smart locks.

Works just as indended for wireless access to your door lock.

lock works great, but will drop connectivity with our wifi every few days. just update firmware, so we will see if that fixes issue

Amazing breakthrough in home security. Just think, you can lock or unlock your door no matter where you are. So many uses for this amazing item. I installed it in about 25 minutes. If I can do it so can you. This also comes with a keypad so in case you don't have your cell phone with you you can still get into your house.

Had a few minor issues with getting it setup correctly to lock the door. Once figured out it works like a charm. Goes well with my existing setup from SimpleSafe.

Often gets jammed when locking, ensure you are capable of trouble shooting or you’ll be locked out/your door will be unlocked.

I bought the lock for the front door of my vacation home, where I've used Simplisafe for about 6 years without any problems. I installed the lock pretty easily, and it looks like it works okay. Installation was easy. Note that the system is not a "lock" -- it's just a controller for the inside of the door that can open or close the deadbolt when you punch in the PIN code on the keypad that you place on the outside of the door. You don't have to replace the lock mechanism or need new keys, you just install the Simplisafe mechanism to the inside part of the door. This is a nice feature if you want to keep your current keys, and it simplifies installation. The negative is that the keypad itself feels a little flimsy, and simply sticks to somewhere on the outside of the door. Anyone could easily rip it off and take it with them (not that it would do them any good on its own). It also felt like it could easily fall off the wall and get lost. That said, I never actually used it. Turns out the lock is not compatible with the "original" system, which is something they do not notify you about in any of the marketing or product information (as of June 2020 -- that might change). It was terribly annoying to buy this, open it, set it up, spend half an hour trying to figure out why my system wouldn't recognize it, spend an hour reading up on it to look to see if it might be incompatible with my product, then have to call the support (which is great) to find out that in fact it doesn't work with the original system. I would give the product itself around 4 stars -- okay, not great, but a cheap alternative to a sturdy Schlage lock that will replace the lock and integrate with a keypad. I subtracted one more star because Simplisafe isn't being clear that it doesn't work for the thousands of people who have their original system.
