I have been stuck outside my house a few times due to this issue (and have to rely on garage entry to get into the house). I installed this product 30+ days after the purchase (life happens!) and now can’t even return it.

SimpliSafe Smart Lock

Deadbolt sometimes gets stuck in the lock position and can be difficult to unlock with a key. I will be switching to another product.

Half the time it wont unlock our front door if the door has a little friction on the bolt. If you move the bolt by hand its free and smooth but the motor cant keep up. Wouldnt recommend. After 2 months they wont let me return it so guess ill be throwing it in the trash and getting a normal lock with keypad like we had on our last house.
