Great wide camera angle and very easy set up! Also has good audio

Excellent doorbell camera, picture quality is great. Only issue is that the storage options can be quite pricey compared to competitors. I do like it though.

Works as described. The unit sends an alert to the phone app when someone approaches the door and it records video for online viewing. Also at anytime I can access the camera for viewing. The bad is my analog doorbell which was supposed to work with this video doorbell, only rings once with a "ding" and not as normal with the "ding dong" ring. Called SimpliSafe and they sent out a free part that installs in the inside doorbell ringer wiring. Problem was this part made it worse as the doorbell quit ringing completely. Took that part out as I need to at least hear the single "ding" ring when someone pushes the doorbell button. Had a friend that bought this video doorbell a few months ago and he also has the same ringer problem except his does not ring at all. I was hoping it was related to his doorbell ringer, but apparently not.

It is nice but takes a while at times to show movement. For example, someone could be on the porch and a minute or two goes by before being notified of their movement.

Well, to start -- I tried to "save some money" by purchasing a "Simplisafe doorbell" off a popular auction site. Looked official, the parts and materials in the box looked all right, but the dang thing would. not. work. My husband checked the installation and couldn't find anything wrong. I bought a WiFi extender and still no luck. Finally gave up and bought a GENUINE Simplisafe doorbell. Gee whiz, it was easy to install and worked right away the way it was supposed to! Lesson learned.

Door bell worked well for a while. Then it stopped. Sent me a new one, works most of the time now. Sometimes you can see the video sometimes you can’t. I’d say 70% of the time it does it’s job. But that other 30% is ANNOYING.

This doorbell is very good. Sleek profile compared to others, easy to install, app is ok. Only problem is that their app is not compatible with the new iOS so you do not get any alerts. The Simplisafe app shows alerts in settings, however there are no alert settings on the iPhone or iPad. Customer service was no help, each time they wanted me to do the same troubleshooting steps, once I even removed the doorbell to hard reset it. I waited over a week with no results. The fourth call I had with customer service, that told me they have no record of me calling! Really, a security camera company has no record of my three extensive calls, two emails and two social media queries. Makes me wonder how good they really are for security. Ultimately had to return it before the return period was over.

Once installed thoroughly enjoyed. Initial installation had to be supplemented with part from SS to counter humming noise from home door bell chime . Part came quickly install simple and solve the humming noise from 21C electronics meeting the 20C electricity.

Excellent video doorbell. Simplisafe is second to none. I had questions about the installation and had them answered in 15 minutes before I started the install and was finished with the doorbell linked to my system and watching the feed from the doorbell in 30 minutes.

Great product to buy. I had their Cameras now got this deal to completed my home security.

Great picture quality, was easy to install, have had very few false alerts from cars driving past house. Would recommend this one.

Fairly easily installation and I’m not much of a DIY’er. It runs on wifi so if WiFi ain’t working neither is this camera. However the frustrating part is even when wifi is working (my WiFi is pretty good and works 99% of the time) the camera randomly disconnects and stays disconnected for extended period of times. It hasn’t worked for three days now, I reset it and reconnected it to WiFi and it worked for about 5 minutes before disconnecting again, very frustrating for something that is supposed to be standing watch 24/7. I wouldn’t get this camera unless you already have SimpliSafe. It integrates well with rest of SimpliSafe system and stores video for about a week if you pay the $5 a month for camera recording. Clear day/night vision and motion sensor is instant notification (when it works)

This was a great addition to our simpli safe home security system. It is nice to see who is at your front door and it links with the same simplisafe app that you use for your home security. I wish simolisafe would make an angled bracket for it but other than that it is a great product.

In checking it out and reading all about it it is a great unit. However, I returned the unit as it turns out my doorbell was battery powered and not wired. I call SimpliSafe and they are developing a WiFi'd one so I will wait for it. I did check with an Electrician and due to my house being built in 1948 it would have taken too much and I didn't like what they were going to do. I love SimpliSafe - they are great.

This was the perfect addition to the existing Simplisafe alarm system. I did have to go to Comcast and add signal extenders in the form of the Xfinity Pods. Once those were added the signal was great, set up went fast and easy.

The Simplisafe video doorbell is a breeze to install, just a few buttons on your security panel and connect it to the app. It provides a really clear picture and the 2 way communication is great. Even when I'm away from home there is very little delay when speaking to someone through the doorbell so they can't tell if I'm home or not. When the doorbell is used with the Simplisafe smart lock I am able to verify who is at my door before I unlock it for them.

My wife and I love this new doorbell. It works flawlessly and is relatively easy to install (I'm NOT a handyman). However, there is a known issue with certain (most?) doorbells that will most likely require a call to customer service and some additional installation. It's worth the extra effort.

Super easy install and set up! Impressed with the video quality. No false pickups due to wind or animals thus far...
