Works great but having issue speaking into it.. any movement it goes off even if a spider is walking on it, sounds is decent

I would give this 4 stars if it didn't take 3 tries. The first 2 worked for about 45 minutes, then disconnected from my router and would not get back on. SimpliSafe support was fast, thorough, but could not solve the problem. When I tried 3rd unit, it has connected and stayed connected and works well. My only complaint is that it seems a bit clunky/delayed in the microphone while talking to the person. You push the microphone button on the app, start talking, and it seems like it "clips" the beginning of what you say ...unless you delay speaking. Otherwise happy with the app, quality of video, and works great with my existing simplisafe system.

This is my first doorbell camera and I love it so far. It's reliable sensitive to motion. It's quick to record and solid video quality. Love that you can talk through it. I creep on everyone who comes to my door. Smooth integration with Simplisafe app. The only thing I wish it did have is a snooze feature when my father-in-law was installing new front steps....had notifications going off all day.

We love the convenience and quality of this addition to our SimpliSafe home protection. Images are crystal clear making it easy to identify who or what is in the vicinity of our front door. The sound quality is excellent as well.

The camera is great for it's price, with crystal clear visuals. The only issue I have is that it is far enough from my router that it struggles with recording HD videos when someone is at the door.

Works good, it’s basically just a ring camera that wont sell your information (looking at you amazon)

Easy to install, nice, clear picture even at night. No issues so far.

I was kind of surprised how small it was out of the box but it actually works really well as most doorbells are pretty tiny as it is. Just needed to drill one hole as you can just use one of the old ones. So much more cost effective than the big contract brands out there. Picture is great. We use the green cover, keep in mind it is a VERY light green.

This doorbell is pretty good should have waited for a lower price. The view is good the sound is great from Mic te motion detection is laggy at times,

So far, so good. Easy installation to existing wired door bell and integration to all our cell phones. Future system upgrade suggestion - I didn't realize that it was stand-alone from existing SimpliSafe system's base station for voice announcement when cellphone is off or unavailable. In other words, alerts only go to cellphone without monitored services.

Picture quality is great day and night and love the design.

The installation was simple and straight forward. Worked with the wiring from my existing doorbell. Notifications are sent to my phone almost immediately when someone rings the bell or simply walks in front of the camera. I can view and even talk to them from my phone. Great addition to my home system. Highly recommend.

Camera works great but motion detection can somewhat be to sensitive. On low, the motion detection will pick up large trucks on the street 30+ ft away.

This simplesafeis nice quality but I found it quite thick and a little difficult to mount. The monthly service fee is required to get hosted services. There are some less expensive options.

I really like the Simplisafe Pro Video Doorbell since it works flawlessly with my Simplisafe security system. But the doorbell camera needs some app enhancements. I had a Ring Doorbell 2 that worked well, but I was tired of paying two monitoring fees, one to Ring, one to Simplisafe. The Ring app has several features that I wish the Simplisafe app would get for their video doorbell. Its getting better... All in all, if you already have the Simplisafe security system, I recommend that you get this Pro Video Doorbell.

Pros: Overall, works as claimed. I like the SimpliSafe approach, especially to privacy. Great value. The browser interface and app work well. Archiving videos to the cloud is $5 per month. Cons: My wifi extender was fourteen feet away, but I had a mediocre signal. I moved the extender to four feet away and now have a good signal. Bad unit? Don't know. Many of the camera settings are only accessible using the app. I would prefer to use the browser. I used the angled shim that compensates for non-vertical siding, but would like a slightly different angle. Perhaps some other shims with different angles?
