Easy set up, excellent functionality. Have never had one issue with doorbell or accessing camera from the app.

Provides wide view and zoom capabilities. Easy installation and setup. Live action camera but no video recordings unless you subscribe to higher tier monthly security plan.

Easy setup, great picture, I can hear the visitors pretty good, but they can't hear me at all. Looked online for troubleshooting....did that, still won't work. Disconnected the doorbell camera and put it back on again,,,still only one way sound. Could not reach customer service for a week at different times of the day....kept on hold an average of 11 minutes, then the line would suddenly disconnect-- each and every time. Perhaps the COVID-19 shutdown?? Read online that RING also has the same problem.

Door bell video is great for viewing who is at the door. We live in a 2nd story apartment and running down the stairs is getting old to see who or what is at the door. Bummer for this product is the storage is 10/mo. NOT worth it for us.

This was a great purchase to add to my security system, it work wonderful and doesn’t sound off on non events like Ring Doorbell does, I do recommend getting it professionally installed so that it works as intended with the rest of the system.

The door bell was easy to install. 1.)Shutoff off circuit breaker fo the door bell. 2.) Removed old door bell. 3.) Attached the Simplisafe door bell. Used one of the old holes and drilled another. Attached electrical wires. And then attached doorbell. 4.) Turned power back on. 5) Connected the door bell to Simplisafe security system. 6.) Finished

If you have a SimpliSafe account, it’s worth adding this on. It has some issues with connectivity occasionally, but serves its purpose overall.

This is one of the best things I did to my house. You can see anyone coming to your door from anywhere in the world. It's a great feeling. Get it! You will be glad you did.

I have set this camera doorbell with my SimpliSafe installation of home security system and it works great. Quality of the camera is awesome and I love the fact that it can differentiate between human movement and any other movement, so you are not constantly getting notifications.

Pick this up on close out sale and it has been a great buy. Connection to my SimpliSafe system was easy. Has a fast reaction time when it detects motion, camera picture is very clear. Can read a license plate across the street. I do have it hooked up with the hard wire connection this does make the difference.

Aside from the volume being low on the microphone, this item is a gem. The setup was beyond easy, and it was pretty much plug and play after that. Highly recommended.

This doorbell is legit! Picture is awesome and being able to screen people at our door has proven very helpful in warding away unwanted solicitors! SimpliSafe is so much more affordable than all other Security companies and the security that they provide is top notch! Customer service is awesome!

I have a simplisafe alarm system so decided to combine the door cam with it. It needs power but i figured it out, just a bit of a delay when speaking to people but it works. Love that it chimes the basestation and alerts you via push notification von the cell phone app.

We have the SimpliSafe security system, so when we wanted to add a video doorbell this was an obvious choice as there's no additional cost if you're already paying for security monitoring. It was easy to install, and works well- no complaints here! We liked it so much we recommended it to my Mom!

Love SimpliSafe and their easy to install and use security system. Made the switch to SimpliSafe from Comcast and saved a ton. It was easy to install the video doorbell and it works great. Clear picture, notifications when it picks up movement and the ability to have 2 way dialogue is a cherry on top.

Prefer the ring door bell over the SimpliSafe, ring has a better picture and installs easily

We debated about installing a peephole in our door but we needed a doorbell replacement anyway! This has been wonderful to be able to check from anywhere in the house when someone rings my back doorbell! It integrated well into our existing simplisafe system! Highly recommend SimpliSafe!

Easy to install but a nightmare to use. The Wifi on my door step displays 5 lines of perfect reception on my iPhone. However the signal sent from the doorbell to the SimpliSafe homebase simply is erratic at best. Most of the time I see a frozen message saying there is “duh” “no connection... check your router” I did all the restart dance multiple times. Nada! Finally called Support and was kindly told that SimpliSafe has a software problem. I sent it back for a refund and will wait for some sort of a report that the software issue has been resolved!
