Easy setup and great doorbell camera

It was very easy to set up and use. The camera is very clear and works great. We get 1 or 2 false alarms a week on the medium setting and only for big delivery trucks driving by. Highly recommend especially if you already have a SimpliSafe system.

Not useful without a subscription

You don’t have to have a subscription to use it, but it’s pretty useless without a subscription. You get a notification that there is activity, but nothing is recorded anywhere unless you have a subscription. Kudos to Best Buy for making the return easy at the store (I ordered online). The quality of the image was good. If you want to pay the subscription fee (or have one already), it would be a good purchase.

It will go offline. You will need to be patient to get it back on to work when temperature is down near freezing. Not sure why

It's very basic also very delayed in its response. The picture is very clear so that's a plus but most are I think. SimpliSafe really needs to upgrade the door cam.
