I wouldn't pay the full price,but the unit works well AFTER I've received a transistor for the doorbell from simplisafe. Otherwise doorbell chime will keep buzzing

Does not allow streaming to a surveillance system storage. No local video access, cloud only. Frequently loses videos or parts of videos. Often does not detect motion which results in no video. Unable to link doorbell to the Simplisafe siren to alert of doorbell press.

Poor connection

It’s easy to install and looks nice but that’s the only good thing. It constantly loses connection. Just like the outdoor cameras it’s delayed to turn on. Once someone is at your door you can’t view the feed without losing connection. When I called support to see why I was losing connection all the time they blamed my internet company. I even got the WiFi extender they suggested and 0 improvements. There’s so many complaints on SimpliSafe website. They need to stop making excuses and fix the issues. Last time I called customer support I was told a new update was coming out and fixing these issues. Nothing has improved and their customer service is horrible!
