I purchased the device thinking I could connected with battery but the only way to connect is to power.

Interesting that the doorbell was the hardest part of my system to get up and running. It required a wifi extender and even with excellent connection strength and speed still drops out of the network a couple of times a week,

Now that we troubleshot everything it works great but the initial set up wasn’t the easiest

Will not detect even a UPS truck driving in front of it. Worst motion detection technology I can imagine. I am looking at an alternative and probably returning this.

Replaced our existing SimpliSafe with a new one. Works fine just wish you didn’t have to pay extra to record.

Finally a doorbell camera I love. It was extremely easy to install and set up. The AP is great and easy to use. I like the product so much I ordered an entire SimpliSafe home security system. I hope everything remains as good as it seems

Great product that works with a fantastic security system. Only downside is that it has to be wired.

Great cam! Fit nice on porch with green face cover. Just unsure how to zoom out to see more of porch.

The staff was ver knowledgeable and it was as easy as they said it would be to install.

Installation and set up were complicated due to poor wifi receiving strength of this product and even after purchasing a wifi extender and monitoring package through Simplisafe, the real time viewing is slow and delayed to the point of only catching a glimpse of the person that engages the door bell. Watching real time camera motion monitoring is also a joke our neighbor drove past our house that real time event was seen about 60-90 seconds later on our device. They should change that programs name to Almost Real Time. Tech support through them is hit or miss, during the door the bell install getting through was relatively easy and they were somewhat helpful, ordering of their extender was easy. But this weekend after the extender set up. Their tech support was terribly slow and was no help at all my questions were met with a standard wifi response until the tech person was informed that the extender was purchased through them? Then I heard crickets. I became so frustrated that I asked for a tech supervisor only to be put on a list of other persons requesting the same thing.

Ok camera at night some times doesn’t show clear. But ok for first time camera use

I love being able to see who's at the door. The alerts are great and you can set the timing of when you receive them.

We used to have the Ring (we were ok with it). We then switched to SimpliSafe and we love it! It even captures drivers passing by. So we definitely love it since we order many packages. Works well!

Love this, my only issue has been WiFi issues. But who knows if that could be an issue with my house.
